Hi George, I really love what you’ve done with your bike. Very tasteful. I’ve recently purchased my own low-milage 1996 Vulcan. And am currently in the process of personalising my bike somewhat similar to yours. I do have a few questions. What product was used to conceal the flashing on the underside of the tank? The profile of the rubber trim would be just as helpful. Also, how was the Harley cowbell attached to conceal the fuel filter? I’d definitely like to incorporate these ideas on my bike - it sure elevates the overall curbside appeal. Anyway, great looking cycle you’ve got brother!

Thanks for the comments. Really appreciate it. For the gas tank seam, I just used black electrical friction tape which is made of cloth and does not have a shine like the plastic electrical tape. I hated seeing the white seam on the gas tank. LOL. For the cowbell housing, I fabricated a custom metal bracket that fit between the V Twin engine. Unfortunately I sold the bike a few years ago so I can not take close up pictures. Good luck with your new vintage bike. I really miss mine.

Awesome bike! I have a 1999! Question? How did you put a Harley Davison horn on it?

It was just the horn cover. I designed a custom bracket to attach to the engine. Behind the horn cover I hid a gas filter.
