I had that same oldsmobile and it was my baby best freaking car I ever had love to find myself another when I bought mine back in 2002 only had 75,000 miles on it I was definitely in love..

The ABS systems tended to be troubled. Mine did the same thing over 20 years ago on the same year Cutlass Ciera. Very well optioned model and in impressive shape.

I had a 1994 version and had it not had the problems it did, I would've kept it longer. I loved these cars! Now, the ABS could be something really simple. Check your high mount brake light. I know this sounds weird but if it's out, the ABS system will not work. When I tapped the housing, one of the lights started working and surprisingly, the ABS issue went away. Something super easy and simple to check for!
