Filmed at Strawberry reservoir. No music, just the sweet sound of those triple pipes!

I had that exact same sled as the first sled I ever rode! She was a missile on the trails but she HATED powder, she was a boat anchor and always "submarined" in deep snow, always had to keep the throttle at 50 percent or she would just plant herself to the point where the seat would be covered completely. I ride an rmk now but I miss the old girl :-(

A Drone yeah these are really heavy! They are definitely a trail sled. If they had paddles they would be more fun in powder!

Why am I seeing most 1996 xcr 600 triples in the old wedge shape and not this shape. Looking at a real nice one for 700. I wonder about tuning 3 carbs every year though. 2 is hard enough. I am a ditch banger, just how I grew up, so I will see some powder, crazy snow up in Minnesota this year. Plenty of power? Better than a 2 cylinder 600?

More of them were wedge shape I believe. They make a good trail sled, have lots of power, but they are a bit heavy. They also usually have a short track without big lugs, so not great powder traction, but really awesome top speed. Not much of a powder sled. A 600 twin is a good bit lighter and has better traction, a better sled for powder.
