I have a 1995 700 started at the dock . Got on yo start again after turning it off . Doesn’t want to turn over . Any suggestions ( I’m charging the battery as I write this comment .)

I got the exact same wave runner but mine will crank for 2 seconds then completely stop

mine starts and runs fine but i cant shut it off wont start with lanyard off but lanyard on it runs and starts as normal...pulling the lanyard doesnt stop it, the stop button doesnt stop it either. i watched another video where this was the problem and they replaced CDI to resolve issue. any help appreciated...

Well because your lanyard switch allows it to not start, I wouldn’t say the buttons are bad. It’s most likely an electrical issue further up the line. There’s a 2-pronged plug coming from the controls. Take it apart and it shouldn’t be able to stop but if you jump the two prongs together it should stop. I show where the plug is in my other video.

I was out on the water and and it died and when I got back to shore yeah sure and clean the plugs it started. I clean the plugs and whand one pack out ran good for about 15 minutes then stalled I heard that you get 25 hours or 4 or 5 good trips on it before you should change the plugs

That is definitely a problem with these skies. It mostly effects mine at idle. I also find that if I don’t run it for a week or two on the water the plugs go bad.

Yeah my jet ski turns over but wont start it just died while i was out on the water i figured it was the fuel pump but i got a new one but it acts like its not even turning on

I washed the inside of my jetski bay and now I'm not getting nothing when I put the key in, it's not turning over or anything. I'll try those wires

Lol. That’s exactly what happened with mine. I washed the inside, then the fuse blew
