I will always remember my experience with this revival... I attended both the revival in Rhode Island and in New Jersey. I knew if I went to New Jersey I was going to be healed of Systemic Lupus... it was no accident that I attended the Rhode Island event. God has plans for me...and when I went to New Jersey... it was the last day, the last gathering, the last prayer session when Pastor Kilpatric saw me from the other end of the collusium floor, made a bee line for me, grabbed hold of me and said... THIS is for you honey!!! and went flying back in the presence of the Holy Spirit. I receive medical confirmation from the medical team of doctors I had in Boston... that there was no longer any evidence of the disease anywhere in my body. That confirmation came 7 years to the date of the onset of the disease. ONLY GOD can orchestrate that!!! ONLY GOD!!! That happened in 2000, it is now 2019 and I am still going strong and even stronger for GOD! It is really sad that this man was released from his position but... God is in control! To have lives threatened because of the school board position... THAT is not from God and those who did that are NOT speaking for God and my heart grieves for those zealots! I agree with WHO CARES if sharing the gospel is illegal!!! GOD is more important than any single person on the face of this earth. Steve Hill was a tremendous vessel used by God! ... and fight continues on!

One of my closest friends is best friends with the ex-vice principals wife and I know her well too, and hear how they are doing. They moved away to another position out of state and they are still doing wonderful and still on fire for the Lord, reaching ppl for Jesus in the city they are in now, so that is the important thing.

I was a bit skeptical about Steve Hill initially but now I consider him to be one of the most genuine Evangelists ever. What an amazing story. I love the message of repentance that dominates this revival with so many changed lives. It is time for God to move again, but are we prepared to pay the price? Am I willing to pay the price? This is all true. I just attended first assembly of Montgomery tonite and heard John Kirkpatrick who came as a guest soeaker, give testimonies and told of amazing miracles of healings and more that he witnessed at Brownsville back in the day. Many people that I know witnessed same at Brownsville , and their lives changed forever to serve God and decades later theres still evidence. John Kirkpatrick,now pastors Church of His Prescence in Al and is a very balanced, , knowledgable teacher, and annointed pastor and his record speaks for itself and has stood the test of time. Steve Hill passed , but his family still evangalizes and shares the good news of the gospel and Jesus Christ . We need more revivals like this and John believes it will happen again!

What an epic flowing in the POWER OF THE HOLY Spirit .Here at Brownsville was dynamic Revival at its truest with true repentance and holiness preaching, altars jammed with fervent intensity of hungering to touch GOD and to taste, to see and know the goodness of the wonder of His power in such sacred consecrated times of worship . Yes, i can attest to the truth and validity in the comments of Pastors Hill and Kilpatrick who said that ''some worshippers are so filled with the Spirit that they jerk and shake uncontrollably.'' I do remember as a youthful teenager being in a meeting worshipping when all of a sudden my knees and hands all began to shake quite uncontrollably and I couldn't stop them even if i tried to , not that i ever wanted to mind you LOL . I shall never forget that wonderful day of visitation of God's power and glory actively captivating my life so very powerfully.

I thank the Lord 4 my former Highschool REAL SAVED SANCTIFIED HolyGhost filled Christian"teacher back in 1987 for praying with me & 4 me!!! I'll never forget her! I was a broken teenager & didn't know the Lord! I look back & now I can see! The Lord sent her 2 my H.S for such a time. Someone narked on her because she would pray with my class & she was dismissed as my teacher! She didn't reveal the reasons just said", she was leaving, but we would be ok. If I could see her again in this life I would tell her I finally found "JESUS" & thankyou 4 praying 4 me & showing real LOVE MY OWN FAMILY NEVER TRULY SHOWED! I now I'll see her in HEAVEN! Awww, A Christian teacher tutored me off the clock and for free during the summers and it changed the trajectory of my life. My clothes reeked with the smell of cigarettes and my hair was often snarled, but she told me I was smart and even baked cookies with me while others wrote me off for failure. I saw the Jesus in her, her favorite song that I remember she always had playing was, “they will know we are Christians by our love.” I also graduated high honors, and despite people in the public school system previously saying I wouldn’t ever be able to keep up, I outscored 98% of my state academically. I did that without really trying. Sometimes the people that come against us, are simply doing that, coming against us and God‘s plan for us because they don’t understand the clarity that comes from hearing and obeying the Lord.

No criticism nor gossip. Some people visit both. But the Holy Ghost May be more present in a Pentecost or Assembly of God. Most of all in this small book I wrote you, remember (PRAY & Listen to the Bible n Worship music. God will lead and plant 🌱 a seed to grow by quiet thought of what to do n where to go. Cause who could know better for you then the one you seek to know better again. Repent of sin, He awaits You more than you realize.) Self control is about keeping yourself from sin, not about resisting the power and presence of God so that you stay "dignified" in the eyes of pompous, religious church people. Read your Bible! Even in the Old Testament, when prophets encountered God's presence they dropped to the ground, sometimes like dead men, even "undone" by His Holy Glory. You need to cast off stale, dead religious counterfeit of Christianity and be filled with the Holy Spirit! But you’re more concerned with arguing semantics to make yourself feel more spiritual, that you are willing to overlook or Pooh-Pooh another believer’s efforts to do that very thing because they call it “revival”. Hey….here is some “truth” in return. (since you “gave me some truth”) How about instead of showing off how much you think you can teach the rest of us, you go back to the roots of the Gospel, which is love… like the love one feels when we see a fellow believer long to restore their relationship with the Lord and rekindle a bigger fire than the one they had before regardless of whether they call it “revival” or “potluck dinner”. If recognition and admiration is what you’re needing I’d be happy to draw you a crowd so we can applaud you. Let me know.

I’m a sinner saved by grace, imperfect and flawed and daily restored and reconciled to the Father by grace and forgiveness. You know? It’s kind of a waste of an effort to try to condescend someone by quoting what “YOUR” Bible says, when you don’t know how to interpret context. The verse that you are trying to leverage to make your point has nothing to do with or against revival… it has to do with a body of Christ that is chronically falling away in the end-times, being led astray by liberalism and “woke-ism”. What that scripture refers to is that those who remain true to the REAL and unbastardized fundamentals of the Gospel, the REAL gospel of salvation through the sacrifice of Jesus and NOTHING more, will be saved. Again, please stop trying to make yourself out to be some expert on something ESPECIALLY using scripture out of context. ESPECIALLY to criticize the efforts of other believers who choose a word that signifies a sincere desire to re-ignite their passion for Jesus because you can’t find the word in the New Testament. …… I’m assuming you don’t believe in the rapture either because that word is not there either right?

Religion is dead works, that's why people are hungry for relationship with Jesus, our God doesn't mind messing up your theology, the Pharisees acted the same self righteous way these people who oppose this revival, they choose comfort to the fire of God(holy spirit) the shakings, the other manefestations are often God's way to deal with pride, so pray, spend time in His presence and you will know this is a real awakening to shake people out of their slumber🙌🏼📖🙏🏼

People are hungry for a movement of God in their lives, then & today! God desires relationship with willing hearts/vessels & is still drawing people today. I love the section where the reporter says, "it's called being slain in the spirit." Friend, if you desire salvation, also desire the baptism of the Holy Spirit! Being slain is beautiful, it's heaven and the Lord touching your life (putting in and taking out) and speaking to you! Only God knows just how to minister to YOU! Desire it!

They are todays Gnostics, Atheists, New Age, Judaized people, people who embrace Islam, people who embrace Mormonism or Jehovah's Witnesses. It was all a scam, and the revival was demonic.

Well i can tell you as someone who experienced this revival between 2000-2007, some fell away and some are still serving...i have witnessed people "on fire" for God but lacked balance and reality on simple things, i myself had fervancy and fell away myself, i have seen good hearted and honest people there and those with an artificial heart..i have seen a church split that hurt many leaving many wounded and left abandoned with no help, i did my best to help these people and became bitter at those who just "went on in the Lord" as if nothing ever happened, Ive witnessed 2 women that went from revival to 🌈 (you know what i mean) i spent time trying to help her back to her "natural" self and at the end she came to her senses and i helped her on her way to New York where she believed she needed to be ..i met up with her years later..some that were involved in this became really confused and didnt know who they were or what they were "called" to do.. way to many "peophets" speaking into peoples lives and not enough realness and guidance..one of my close "brothers" was so "deep" into others speaking into his life that he became confused and say things like " well i had this prophet say this, and this prophet say that" i lit him up and said "these are what Jesus warned us about my bro, false prophets. I had to break him out of that garbage by taking him out to eat and hanging out with him..his real brother was mentally handicapped...and hus mom was a baptist..so i decided to be real and transparent with them in order to show them that God was relational so they could come out of old stale beliefs that were prevelent in those two. I drove a cab in that town, and alot of them i did not see out there helping or "being the light of the world back then, a few worked with me in the beginning but left only 2 remained..i looked on the internet to check on others, some are pastors today😊(Good for them) i saw one who is a fervent preacher and has been all around the world. Others settled in the world and just lived life righteously, i had alot of bumps in the road because i became hard hearted and had times of sin and repentance...im getting better now thanks to God. I guess it was a time of falling away for me, maybe to learn that i was not who i was and im learning that there is a whole other side of things in life that i was blind to ...hope this helps, God Bless.
