Thanks. Getting my wife's '98 626 up and running after sitting for a couple of years with my son. Already cleaned the injectors and now we're working out way back to through the fuel system one component at a time.

hello, I have a mazda 626 from 2002 and for 2 days the remote control to open the doors no longer works, I changed the battery and it still does not work. I looked at the guns and all are ok so I open the doors with the key but the problem is that the doors open and close all the time. I cannot leave my car on the street because it opens by itself. Do you have an explanation or a solution to help me. thank you

Hello Nini. I'm not too sure what you mean by guns, but it sounds to me like your remote has a bad button. Try removing the battery from all of the remotes you have for the car. Use the key to lock and unlock the car. If the doors do not open on their own anymore, then you need to get a new remote. You can get these from Amazon or auto parts stores. Look for "OEM Electronic 3-Button Key Fob Remote Compatible With 1998-2002 Mazda 626 (FCC ID: CWTWB1U411, P/N: GD7D-675DY)" It will need to be programmed for your car, but there are instructions, and it is very easy.
