The GTO MR is a legend, and even in bone stock form is an incredibly fast car. It does the 1/4m in mid 12s to high 12s stock, and is very quick around a track as seen here. The MR was about 100lbs lighter than the normal GTO TT, and had optional shorter gearing from the factory. I have a stock USDM 1995 3000GT VR-4 and run consistent 13.1s-13.2s @ 103-104mph, NO mods, just low gas and the spare out of the trunk, stock down to the factory spec tires.

GTO MRs never came in left hand drive. This is an American 3000GT VR4 with a GTO badge. But yes VR4s can be converted to MR by removing the weight.
