The 90's was the only era of hockey I really watched because I'm a Detroit native and our team was just so amazing at the time, they were like a dream team. Konstantinov used to come into a Home Depot I worked at with his wife after he was in that limousine accident, he was nearly paralyzed at the time and could barely talk, but he would light up whenever someone recognized him. I also remember seeing Scotty Bowman a number of times at a local coffee shop in Farmington, MI. Truly a great team, that 2nd goal by McCarty in this game was incredible.

I used to love it when the Wings would get heated up on Shots on goal one after another like a well oiled machine revving up...best hockey team there ever will be in history, and I saw it live at the Joe!!

What is that song being played when the wings get a power play?
@chansekyllonen35294 жыл бұрын
I believe you're speaking of the song: Hit the Road Jack, by Ray Charles. The remake by The Throttles wasn't done until 2017. Hope this answers you're question since it plays at the beginning of most home game powerplays.

Wow i remember running around the living room .. I do feel bad for Lindros he was dominating and surely may have won a cup in that era until Stevens laid into him

That pretty much was the nail in Philly’s coffin when he scored that goal.
