Running a t56 trans. Over the last year many people have performed this swap with autos with success but I I'm not 100% if there is differences between different earlier years.

So I have a 1995 Formula Firebird LT1. If I was going to run this swap on my car I would need the 0411 pcm (with tune), 1997 LT1 timing cover, 1997 LT1 reluctor wheel, and LT1 crankshaft hub correct? Would I still need to re-pin anything on the PCM to connect with my current wire harness or would it just be plug and play after the items above have been installed? If it does need to be re-pinned do you have the diagram? Looking to get this going, because I have a serious hate for the Opti. Thanks!

You have to repin the factory lt1 harness into the 0411 pcm. The lt1 pcm has four connectors where as the 0411 only has two connectors.

Yeah, there are shops that can tune them but I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong), if you want to tune yourself, you're pretty much stuck with JET's program.. which isn't great. With this you can tune with any software for LSx; HP Tuners, etc..
