My squash,, racquetball analogy of the all time greats. Marty Hogan and Jahangir Khan were stocky guys who were super strong and could overpower their opponents. Kane W and Jansher Khan were geniuses of angles and court position who made the game seem effortless. Cliff S and Peter Nicol two lefties who had unbelievable stamina and determination. Sudsy and Jonathan Power created magic with their ability to hit shots from any position.

Does anyone know what the head -to- head record between Sudsy and Cliff is?

Faster game from the 90 s at a glance. Cliff looked tough to beat for any area here.

Two best racquetball players ever.

tuberide Interesting comment since Kane has more US Open titles than the two of them combined. And if it wasn't for his unfortunately two year suspension from the game, Kane would have 12 Open titles. Simply put...Kane is the best player in the history of the game. Period.

Mark Wolfson You have a great point there. Kane is the best ever as far as mental game, and tournament domination. Different playing field and racquets now, but Kane continues to win.

Sudsy vs. Cliff was the Power vs. Nicol rivalry of racquetball. Power and Nicol made watching squash enjoyable.

From what I've seen, racquetball was more entertaining back then

David Breese That is because Kane is so much better than everybody. Kind of like the way Federer dominated for quite a while. He was just better than Roddick, Hewitt, Safin, Nalbandian, Gonzo, Fish, Ferrero, etc. It wasn't until Murray, Djokovic, and Nadal came along that Fed became not so dominant.

What does Sudsy Monchick have in common with Andre Agassi (tennis), Craig "Clubber" Lane (outdoor racquetball) and John White (squash)? All four were the greatest ball strikers in their respective sports.

I thought the dancers were terrific - tons of energy and not bad on the eyes. Tennis events should do more of that kind of entertainment.

Do most racquetball experts agree that Sudsy had the greatest backhand in the history of the game?
@FloridaWaterAdventures4 жыл бұрын
I'm no expert, but that's debatable. Hard to argue with Kane's backhand.

To think that the greatest rivalry in tennis, squash and racquetball occurred at the same time. Tennis: Agassi vs Sampras; Squash: Power vs. Nicol; Racquetball: Swain vs Monchik.
