Did u buy or airbags from spartan or did u get them from somewhere else? If so how do u identify the right ones?

Thanks so much for this video! I ordered exactly the same part for my 2000 DSDP Spartan Chassis and 2 and a half hours later, i was done. Love the idea of removing the top bolt of the air bag rather than replacing the two very difficult to loosen bracket bolts. That made it much quicker. Your video gave me the confidence to do the job. Ordered the part from Michigan TruckSpring. Cost delivered was about 650$ and they had it to me in three days.

Your chassis is a mountain master what suspension do u have ? mine is a 13.2K mountain master im going to replace the air bags im trying to find the right parts thank you Mark

Do you need to jack up the rear and use jack stands like the front or can the rear be done without lifting? Couldn’t tell from where the video started.

Yes, you do have to lift. You can see the wheel off the ground at 0:58 mark.

@@bossturbo Thanks for the quick reply Brian. I was quote $600 labor per bag and thought that was ridiculous. I've done some major maintenance on my 2000 American Eagle before and I'm ready to tackle this one.

​@@EricChanceStone That's preying on ignorance and fear. There's not any specialized equipment needed, just normal tools. You could buy the air compressor, impact wrench, heavy duty jack stands, all the other tools needed AND the airbags and still be well under their price just for labor. If you mess up, it's also not creating a life threatening situation since the airbag lines are not part of the brake lines (at least on mine). You wouldn't want to go on a trip with messed up air bags, but you could limp it somewhere. It can be a little scary underneath the engine/trans and all that weight, but not THAT bad. I still take my vehicles to places I trust will treat me fair for jobs I don't want to do, even oil changes though.
