What a great opening to this broadcast: remembering the great Danny Sullivan's final race of his five magical years at Penske in 1990, which in pure Sully style he went out with a clinical pole-to-checker win at Laguna Seca. Then to see him drive it again in a '98 Indy Car as he took the audience around the circuit...what a treat for fans of Indy Car's Golden Era, when it was the best open wheel racing on the planet. Classy driver, classy guy, and a great commentator as well--I think he and Bob Varsha are the best booth combo in CART/Indy Car history. Thanks to IndyCar for all these great quality classic uploads. And thanks Sully for all the amazing performances and memories!

Best era of the best racing series EVER. Those races were sooo much fun!! The only other thing as good as this was the BTCC (British Touring Cars Championship) - also at the end of the 90s - as well as Moto GP.

A bit of an echo going on there on the audio track, as well as tracking problems. The video quality isn't great either, for 1998. Strange.
