Definitely pay attention to ball joints, tie rods, other general maintenance at around 150k

My 97 tahoe has 278,000 with the original 5.7 motor and 4l60e transmission with no rebuilds. She runs good other than a wire that catches on fire everytime u start it cause a rat chewed a hole in it.
