There was a time in Spain there were a lot of these cars. I drove one of them a few times with the 2.0 engine and It seemed to me a really good car with only two fails: the resistance of the brakes with a hard and long use/abuse and a soft configuration of the rear suspension that made the car nervous on bumpy curves. Most Hyundai’s seem to suffer from the nervous rear end. Especially their front wheels drive models. Usually a torsion bar with some more meat to it solves this issue by giving the steering rack more resistance on those bumps. Mostly at higher speeds I’ve noticed with mine.

g4gc about as solid as you will get, surpasses mitsubishis expectations while negotiating the g-series platform deal with hyundai/kia. I have no doubt only Hyundai knew what they had produced at the time, super under appreciated cars.

L'auto che mi ha dato le maggiori soddisfazioni di tutte quelle possedute. Nero brillante. Peccato x la vernice non esente da problemi e le manopole dell'aria condizionata davvero imbarazzanti. Per il resto un GIOIELLO che ha provocato anche tante invidie. Avevo la 1600 Tiburon,quanti possessori di auto di brand molto più blasonati ha fatto piangere... Complimenti Hyundai e grazie di avermi messo al volante di una sportiva senza dover spendere una cifra da capogiro.

I had one when I was 20. 2.0 16v. Acceleration nice, sound also nice, not too loud. I loved this car very much. It had two things that I didn't like.First one is steering wheel hardness, it is too soft.Second one is stability generally. You don't have that much stability like in other sport cars like Alfa Romeo and others. If you are new driver and driving fast you could easily get off the road. And one more, brakes are not great, very often activates ABS in any harder press on brake pedal

It's named Coupe in Europe. This car had different names. For example, same thing of same model with different names still happens. You know the Hyundai Kona? In Portugal is named Kauai because Kona is a slang for female genitalia in portuguese.

Perdona amigo yo tengo El mismo coche motor 2000 y acelera mucho más rápido que eso y los cambios de marchas no los aprovechas deberías subirlo más de vueltas ya que estés coches son 16v y donde le quitas lo mejor del motor es de las 4500 vueltas hasta las 7000 un saludo por lo demás buen video
