That's how Jason is a BULLY. Amber, Jason is a career CRIMINAL. Yes, technically Tony is a criminal now, too, but ONLY because of all Carly's lies and manipulations. Why can't people see this?? Why are so many against Tony and just forgive Jason in minute for all he tolerated from Carly?? Jason is the BAD guy here, NOT Tony!!!

because Jason is a more relatable and likeable character. He's my favorite character however I see flaw in his character. Personally, I don't see any difference in what he did as opposed to Tony. The logic was the same and yes Carly was a monster in this. Jason was simple-minded and selfish, as well as controlling and was the biggest hypocrite. Once Michael was almost killed in that fire bomb in the limo Jason knew the dangers at that point and was far more dangerous to the child than the quartermaine's were. Although some of them Q's are bad there are some good to balance out the system. Otherwise, they wouldn't have someone like Emily Lila and Monica. He was unfair and ridiculous with his logic. Most people running their mouths about Tony don't even know what the character, just watching these clips and have no idea how good of a person he used to be before Carly came along and before BJ died. But I remember watching him in as a kid and he was so kind.

You may be right, that most people who criticize Tony don't know how good he was before he met Carly the monster. I think she was made to ruin any moral character on the show.

Lynn Smith yep. I sure do remember how good Tony was as a kid in the 80s and teen in the early to mid 90s before Carly. That's why I understood robin side in this i grew up with her too.

Lynn Smith Bull. Tony is just as bad as Jason. Jason has never moved against a child or its mother. He has never kidnapped a baby that is just a few weeks out of the hospital with heart surgery. And left him locked in a cabin with just a young I’ll girl to care for him.He has never held a young girl with HIV against her will until she almost died. Yes, Jason does bad things. He kills. Not downplaying that. But the people he has killed were not innocent. And yes there is a difference between killing innocent people and bad people. But Tony has done the unforgivable. He kidnapped a baby and put him at risk. Years later when Sam just witnesses a kidnapping, everyone said it was unforgivable,but Tony just walks away with a slap on the wrist and they are fine with that. After all, they have Carly to blame it on.

I completely agree! She didn't wait to long to jump into Carlys life and try to take over. Little manipulator. Not saying I agree with everything Carly does (although it is entertaining) Robin drives me nuts, she acts so superior and all knowing.

Robin wanted to be with the Jason that was two years ago and just met her. When she was his teacher and he listened to whatever she said. Jason has knowledge now and isn't naive anymore. If Robin loved Jason and wanted to be with him so bad, she shouldn't have treated him like shit and then run away.

It really does pay to be CONSISTENT when you're writing your characters' personality traits on here. It also really pays to respect a soap character's HISTORY of relationships with each other.

They were consistent but the character has to evolve as well as regress in some way. Jason and most instances, has to be taught be a certain way. Carly taught him to lie. Carly is the one who got him to start to lie and this was pointed out several times that he does not lie. The hypocrisy of the situation was ongoing and addressed, so it's not bad writing. Jason was lying before this being creative with the the truth. Carly is effecting his judgments.

Jason did not lie about going to Tony’s room. He just said he did not threaten Tony. And he didn’t. He just let Tony know he could get to him at any time and then let him draw his own conclusions. Jason was afraid that Tony would try again and wanted to let him be aware he better not.

The Jason that said he never lied was like two years ago. That's the Jason Robin wants. The one she could mold and manipulate by "teaching" him. Jason didn't lie. And even if he had, so what? He and Robin had a pact to never lie to each other, Robin broke that when Jason got shot by lying to him. 🤷‍♀️

Jason says Robin thinks Carly has a bunch of faults but that Michael doesn't care. Maybe not NOW he may not care, but as he gets older, I'm sure he would realize how warped Carly really was/is. I was lucky in that my mother was never a raving selfish sociopath who had temper tantrums every five minutes, like Carly does. I'm sure that having a mother like Carly would hurt a child in the future. And Carly can't seem to do anything without Jason's help. She can't even seem to get through 10 minutes without him holding her hand. Pretty pitiful.
