1998 Journey ch. 1 Puerto Vallarta flooding, then on to Guadalajara, Chapala, Ajijic, and Jocotopec

This part 1 of this video story highlights the 100 yrs storm that hit Puerto Vallarta and caused thousands of homeless, while we were there. This also was a journey when we considered retiring at 50 to Lake Chapala, an area of thousands of U.S. ex-pats who retire to Maui-like weather near the largest lake in Mexico in the mountains of Jalisco. We had several friends living there and it was appealing at that time and we wanted to check it all out. The appearance of our grandkids changed our mind, and we're glad we stayed in Oregon.
