Brutally honest appraisal, you sound more like an independent surveyor than a salesman.

I wish I had the money. I love boats of that era. You're the only channel that really gives an idea of what these cost to have and use. A vacation house would cost much the same, without the fuel of course.

Decent starter boat screaming out for a Setag Refit - I'd imagine suitable for River cruising and Windermere too. Not bad for the age and the money - affordable on finance too !

Very nice boat for the money. The space inside is very good.

A candidate for Setag ?

Definitely weathered well, this boat looks great for its age and I like the blue hull. It has plenty of living space for its size and I do not think it really looks dated. Great video guys thank you. ps love the socks.

Wow, love older boats, they may not have the accomodations of newer but they are proper boats. Your yearly costs are scary, we managed to run our 37ft targa last year, 70 engine hours done and our costs were £7k all in without depreciation.

Great video as always, most detailed and holistic analysis in the YT world. Quick question to all, I am in the market for a 2007 Sea Ray Sundancer 290. The age old question of acquiring a boat with a stern drive (Bravo 3) or V drives? To all who have experienced this conundrum, I'd appreciate your analysis and conclusions. Thanks in advnace.

Great to see this price bracket. In your experienced and humble opinion would you spend 100k on let’s say a 35 footer from 2007 (eg Sessa c35) or a 40 footer like this from around the millennium?
@Boatscouk6 ай бұрын
Hmm. If you are a new boater then go newer. However you cannot compare a sessa to any princess . This is built really well 😁

Hello from the USA, you are doing a perfect job in this channel, congrats🙂. One question, can an American citizen buy a boat in the UK, export it to another European country (Greece for example..) and claim VAT back, or he is not obliged to pay VAT at all? A second question, would it be possible to have a water maker installed in a boat by you? Thanks a lot, in advance and I wish you the very best for the future.
@Boatscouk6 ай бұрын
Hi Bronco. 1/ Yes we can sell you a boat EU tax paid - we sell to US citizens 😎 2/ yes we can add custom items like water makers - no problem - not keen on ice makers though 😂

James casually boasting that they sell 5 million dollar yachts. You know he's a straight baller and the commission on that sale would set him up in socks for 6 months at least, and get his Audi fixed.

Those bags in the closet are for a dehumidifier agent. It sucks the water out of the air throught the use of silica powder. So you have seen something like it, because if you ever got anything with leather in it like shoes, a wallet, gloves, or anything with fabric that is dyed, you've had silica packets before. James, you are being silly again. Fly me out to the UK, I'll come work with you for a week and do some boating, make some videos and teach you some things. Think about it. Maybe you can introduce me to Nick, Jack, Hugo and maybe even Justin Ratcliffe! Lol.

Thats a nice boat for 26 years old. Looks like a 15 year old and the wood is very nice. Got the socks issued figured James. Yours look like seaside rock and Dan's are just an odd pair. Getting dressed in the dark trying not to wake the other half up is generally the cause. I wear black only now, so they;re always odd. 😄 So you have shown us a 100K boat, lets see a video on the 5 k one.
