" curtly Ambrose and courtney Walsh made life difficult for the english batsmen.'' News or everyday occurence
@ThurstonWatt3 ай бұрын
i love how the crowd come onto the field and congratulate the batsmen, when they reach a century. That's real genuine fandom, for me.

I don’t know how people ignores Carl hooper,s greatness and talk very less about him.He has always been a great fighter he is a legend of the game 👍👍👍👍

You can't be that stupid. That pitch was dangerous. Sporting pitches that give assistance to bowlers are fine and there should be more of them. That pitch was a farce and everyone involved with the involvement of that pitch should never ever be allowed near one ever again.

How is the First Test Win not spoken of in same Breath as the one against Australia. Agreed Aussies had a World Class Team, but to chase 280 on a dodgy pitch being 100 odd for 5, was a case par excellence. Hoopers Innings was no less than Laras

West indies were good between 2004-09 but bad luck, players giving up and fights with the West Indian board all played a part.

I've lost count of the number of times left-hand batsmen were being given out LBW even with the ball pitching outside leg from a right-arm-over bowler, back in the day. And Chanderpaul always seemed to be at the wrong end of it! Had there been DRS back then Lara and especially Chanderpaul would have averaged much more, and WI might have won a few more matches.

That Sabina pitch was bad and should never have been allowed to host a test. But for those criticizing wi need to be quiet. I distinctly remember the WI tour to Australia in 96-97 and the pitch in the 5th test at perth was just as bad. Cracks galore !!!

How disrespectful to suggest Hoops played “the innings of his life” at Trini. He had 13 test centuries including a big double hundred. Multiple masterful knocks. His 90 odd to win the match was crucial but he was far from his best form.

Only at home.. After 1994, they were pretty much crushed everywhere they went. Even in England only Walsh n Ambrose saved them to an extent

The pitch was dangerous. Even the West Indies players said that it was. When you see the England physio on the pitch 4 different occasions, you can see that it's dangerous to play on.
