I just did the same install with the exact same spacer and speaker set and I get no sound of them. I don’t have the monsoon system so I’m assuming it has to do something with that. I’ve checked my connections and everything is correct. Any ideas?

What about if I want to leave my tweeters and leave my monsoon amp on my 20th AE and just replace my door speakers with the adapter

Pull the factory speaker and see what impedance it is, then you can purchase the correct speaker to match that of the monsoon amp.

Any luck with this? I just bought a new component system for the front doors of my 20th and I heard the monsoon amp has the crossovers built in so to use stock wiring

My golf 4 doesn’t have speaker in back doors and I checked also doesn’t have cables could you please explain how to install cables from back doors speaker to the radio or mp3 whatever?

Is it not a good idea to weather proof the back of the speakers on after markets as they are not as enclosed as the oem’s?

So if I bought component system and have a monsoon amp I head I can just plug in the tweeters with the normal stock wiring since the monsoon has the crossover built into the amp? So I would not install the aftermarket crossover? Is this correct?

@@LordsNeverWorry This wasn't a personal vehicle, but you can easily pull the speaker, use a multimeter and measure the factory ohm (or do the research online) and replace with a speaker like it.

Similar technique, but if it's a 2005.5, it's a different generation. if it's the same gen as shown, it will be identical.

This fit these deep Type R Alpine's just fine using the parts used. Any deeper and you will have clearance issues with the window regulator.
