This is the greatest complete race I've ever seen. tons of passing and the only time in history Dale Sr. and Dale Jr. had a photo finish. Wish we could've had a few more of those victory lanes.

I could be wrong but I was pretty sure they had a last lap battle to the flag in Japan when they drove the red and black coca cola cars as well as another such race in Daytona in one of the twin 125 races

My first Nascar weekend ever was this weekend. Saw this race in person. It was awesome. The Cup race ended up going caution free on Sunday and was boring as shit to see in person (They were so spread out you had no idea what was going on) This was the best race that weekend by far.

I am from East Brunswick and I went down to Tinton Falls, NJ to visit the IROC race shop. I worked with a guy (Can't remember his name) at Permacel Tape. We worked the night shift from Midnight till 8AM. After that this guy would go down to the IROC shop where he worked on the IROC cars. He introduced me to Jay Signore and Ray Evernham and they let me check out the cars being worked on and I was told I could just walk around. One of the workers ask if I would like to get in and sit in a IROC car which was great. I could at least say the cars I saw being worked on were the same cars that would be racing in the next race.

Greg Moore did really well for a majority of this race. He got left in the dust at the end but the NASCAR guys were never gonna work with him...

It's about time that this was posted in it's live state. Benny yells out "Junior!" thinking that he won, but they've edited it in the ESPN replays that came out after Dale Sr died so that he says "Senior" This is great, thank you.

I sure love the looks of these cars. I wish they'd bring this series back, but instead of having every race in the states, I think they should have 1 or 2 here and the others should be on tracks that these other non Nascar drivers race on. Have a bit more diversity of tracks they go to I think would really keep it interesting.

They need to make Michigan a superspeedway
@blakebierman92954 жыл бұрын
@Tyrone Taylor no its not
@darren.plateroti4 жыл бұрын
Michigan could very well, indeed, be classified as a superspeedway, as it is at least 2.0 miles (3.2 kilometers) in length. But, it is not often clumped in with Daytona or Talladega, and is usually considered to be an intermediate speedway like those that are smaller/similar in size to it (Auto Club, Las Vegas, Atlanta, etc.) on the circuit. Pocono and Indianapolis, both 2.5 miles in length, are also not in that category, because they are uniquely long and flat racetracks.
