They're in the process of being retired , theres only about roughly 80-90 of these left in the MTA system in New York City . They have the newer ones now 2011-12 series , 185-5xx's .

Yeah they sound good & thanks . This bus is now retired as of 2 week ago , theyre putting some of these up for auction , deposit is about 500 & total purchase is 4,000 & change .

They are retiring fast. This bus in particular has been retired as well. I would say by Wintertime there will be VERy few if not any of these C40s left

@@trackwerkOG I don't count that tbh, because NICE still had their Orion V CNGs running from then onward to about February 2019! As for the 1998-2000 New Flyer C40LF CNGs, the last ones retired around August 2013 IIRC.

Yeah i'd say about maybe 55 ish. They're getting rid of these as the newer models come in. This one was retired as of no more than 3 months ago
