This was one of the best programs of her career. Few skaters can pull of Grieg's Concerto, and she did it quite well. This could have been her peak season "judges pick of the year", but ran into a few inconsistencies later that year.

What Elena had going for her here were her jumps and good use of the music. She did have a quality of grace in parts of her skating. What I like about this performance is how she uses her entire body to express the music in between the jumps.
