Kenny Bernstein's 2nd crash of 1999 since Atlanta but much worse. Tire explosion breaks the wing and then everything else gets destroyed. It's happened to others too. Shelley Anderson in Sonoma in the previous year in which she retired. And in IHRA in 2004, Bruce Litton in San Antonio, TX.

It looked like the tire pulled loose from the rim just before it burst. Memphis had too many bad accidents with Bernstein, Dixon, Schumacher twice, Force and Jerry Caminito
