I just found a 1999 p almost full steps but beautiful coin. It is a DDO and DDR around the whole coin. Would you get it graded?

Now just thinking back how many I simply passed by when roll hunting. "NOT" No way they were in any of my rolls. As for the errors, especially struck on different "THINGS" and ways, well, I Personally have found one struck over a staple. (pretty sure it is anyway) and it so happened to be at a point where it could easily fit in a roll. Now those CRAZY errors.... Gotta be an inside job I tell ya lol..Thank you again for a truly informative video J ....

Very interesting video did not know the 1999 p nickel was worth so much in higher grades . These error coin had to be brought out by someone inside are went into coin bags without someone noticing them. Thanks for the info J&B

I think it would be nearly impossible not to spot that error for the nickels because they were so odd and wouldn’t even fit in a roll.

Always learn something new ms60 or higher to get the full step the error coins are to big and clumsy to fit the roll and to not notice unless taken home as a souvenir now of I go to check my nickels thank you

Those kinds of errors have to be put into bags going out, no way those would make it into a coin counter. Maybe?? Great video

Wow those errors are really cool but I don't see how some of them escaped the Mint without a little assistance from someone on the inside. I look at both obverse, reverse and edge of every coin that passes through my hands. You never know what's out there waiting to be discovered. Its hard to believe that multi strike coin received a full steps designation. Thanks J&B see ya in the next one.

I've got a 1994 p mint And 1999 p mint Both in extremely good condition with full steps. I can tell from the front because the hair in Jefferson is much more defined than the other nickels.

These either escape due to automation or a secret plan by the mint to draw interest in coins. Either way works for me. Nice video.

It’s kinda strange that those errors escaped the mint without someone catching them. I suspect it was an inside job that somehow they 'escaped'. On a different note, I was also fascinated by the 99 nickel struck over a a dime.

One has to wonder how some of the errors get out of the mint that gets graded. But still if you can find an OBW roll of nickels one never knows what grade of coin that may be lurking just a coin away.

That last one had to be spotted my a mint worker then it walked into their pocket on the way home. I believe that all the misshapen error coins left the mint by other than normal means.

Actually these crazy nickles could escape the Mint very easy in those large bulk bags they ship them out in. Probably found by a worker at whoever is putting them in rolls, like Loomis, Brinks or N.F. String. Thanks J&B!

I know a lot of you will agree with the statement "We need a strict quality & access control for all of the US Mint Facilities." The public knows of so many stories of incredibly rare coins walking out of the mints and going into circulation or into collections.
