Me watching the first 5 minutes: "Wow, Tre is being more well behaved than he usually is during interviews". Tre: "I'm very high on mushrooms right now". Me: "Welp, that didn't last long".
@heythere69834 жыл бұрын
She's a great interviewer, good questions, listens and responds well. She's cute so thats nice too. This needs more views.. Musicians dont usually get good interviews anymore, only actors get to sit down and talk about what they do, people need good interviews to remind them that music is an extremely important type of art that shapes society more than anything else.

It's strange because i've never seen this woman once on the show that she's doing the interview for. ('Sunrise' on Channel 7 Australia) They usually edit this down to a 3 minute segment with a voiceover on top, Usually by the show's entertainment presenter in which she is not mind you but should be.

I wish it was. 21CBD was their last truly great album, it’s top 3 with AI & dookie imo. I like their newer stuff, but they’ve been making overly poppy albums since the trilogy. FOAMF isn’t really that different, they’ve been doing 60s garage rock for years now. Fans want something heavier and more rockish like insomniac.

BasLindo He did say in an interview a few years ago that he doesn’t like to have regrets, but if he could change one thing, he wished he’d been less of a wise ass when he was younger. I’m only 2 years younger than they are and I remember 1994 and “Green Day mania” like it was yesterday. I’m glad to see that they’ve matured, but still know how to have a good time and put on a great show over 25 years later. Honestly, Billie Joe scared the shit out of me back in those days.😂 I thought he was hilarious and a great entertainer, but I also thought that he was an asshole that I wouldn’t want to meet. Back then, it was considered so cool to be wildly eccentric and “out there.”

This album seems to lack focus, as enjoyable as it is to listen to. I feel like the band didn't provide much substance in their answers here. It's like they just threw a bunch of retro-sounding songs together with no overall message in mind, and now as they go to these interviews they're trying to figure out for themselves what the hell this album they just made is meant to convey and represent.
@jae_lee-4 жыл бұрын
I agree, there is not a lot of substance. but to be fair, I don't think it needs to be that deep like every other green day album. so, even if i would prefer a more thoughtful album, i do enjoy FOAMF a lot

I heard they’ve already recorded, it atleast started another album.. this is just a fun little fuck you to Warner to fulfill their obligation
@heythere69834 жыл бұрын
I think this is more of a back to basics thing for them, like a breather, they tend to do that, for me dookie has some great songs and then a few singles and songs in between that I like, then American idiot was a masterpiece and since then.. just a few cool songs here or there but you never know with greenday if they will do something massive. For them its just the music, its varied, they dont need to try to impress with every cd they put out.
