Did a bit of research and found that this car's engine featured a flat-plane crank, thus its unique exhaust sound. Its engine is similar to the one designed for the Alfa Montreal, but Montreal's engine had a cross-plane crank, giving the it a more traditional V8 rumble (I love the sound of that car...). The redline on this 2.0L V8 is something like 10,000 rpm. Crazy!

I do wonder sometimes why people get so over excited about cars but there is no doubting in this case that this is a work of art....the shape and design for the time is unbelievable.....I've also just seen the new model, that too is outrageously beautiful

The best video I have seen so far, and probably the only one I'll ever see about a 33 Stradale. Great job Bozzy, as always, I would have loved to be here! I'm sure you have tons of sounds of those formula 1 too! Can't wait

Thank you so much for the kind comment Nathan! You can't imagine how much I'd like to record it driven on track or doing a couple of nice accelerations, but it's just a crazy dream, I know... :'( Yes, something realted with those F1s coming soon ;)

Me too. Over 65 yes of cars this sounds amazing looks well.. dare I say as close to the E type.. but better sounding....

David Taylor; E-type is nothing compared to a Tipo 33-Stradale. The Alfa is also about 100 times more expensive.... 😉

I expressed my opinion on this Car. And if you disagree, well, deal with it. To be honest,i don´t care if you built cars or not. Must have been not a big deal,if nobody knows them. And talking about learning something i suggest you to take a close look in the mirror

it preceded the 246 Dino .... which was almost identical, in 72-74..... which wasn't a 'real' Ferrari, as it 'did not have 12 cylindres'' - I built the 'Kato-llac' , in response to the Green Hornets' Black Beauty'''' which had 514'' Cadillac printed block, 33 places of re-inforced steel, many other tricks..... for Bruce Lee's character in the 60's TV series.... It is in Canada. Just shut up and build something, fool.

Cigol Zelev... It is AMAZING ...it looks simple in form. But i am sure that they are fooling me with their MAGIC of design. What interests me is that Everyone likes it. ! So the designers touched on some. " Universal Beauty" which is EVEN more amazing. . And. it is not a Ferrari or Maserati. The only other that I can think of is the Ferrari 246 race car

One of the most beautiful cars ever built. Absolutely stunning. Spyker took a not so subtle inspiration from this car in designing the rear end of their vehicles, which are beautiful, but pale in comparison to this timeless classic.

Alfas make you feel much more ALIVE ! My first car ( in New Jersey) was a 1962 Alfa 2000 Spider with the Touring body. A very rare car even then. Pearl white grey interior. What a gorgeous machine. Perfect balance in every way. My second Alfa was a 1979 GTV 2000 Special with factory rear wing and hopped up motor. Really fast and looked great. Miss them both.
