It should never sound like this. Compared to the past Koenigseggs and other turbocharged cars. It looks like they are not using the exhaust gases for the turbos to spin up. It sounds like a NA car. Maybe a motor spins the turbos without exhaust gases . Who knows.

@@jeremytoto9664 So it looks like because of the combination of the flat plane crank shaft and the pressurised air injected turbo system, they are getting this sound. Still hard to believe because no other turbocharged car sounds like this. This is as good as a NA engine. Even Ferrari has a flat plane crank but the tributo doesn't come close to this.

Twin turbos that are so big (3 bar pressure) that needs air injection , a factory anti-lag system like the latest volvo diesels. Maybe it's time to scale up the engine , run a tad lower compression and add direct injection. Adding two cylinders would net a 6.3 V10 90°. Less lag , less complicated , same or more power on gasoline , not just on ethanol (otherwise it's about 1300 hp and not the full 1600).

If they wanted a bespoke engine I would increase the bore spacing to 110mm, for a 103.6mm bore and a 82.9mm stroke; a 5.6L V8. The piston speeds would be significantly lower and easially allow 8500rpm vs the current 95.25mm stroke and 92mm bore(100mm bore spacing). Or get GM's LT6(but with a 103.6mm bore and 82.9mm stroke).

The production chiron ss has a top speed of only 274 mph which is lower than the average top speed of the production agera rs at 277 mph. Plus, the prototype chiron ss only did 300 in one direction whereas the production agera rs did over 270 in both directions and on a dusty public highway, not a well maintained private road.
