I don't have a single spec for this car, that's why I haven't wrote them... I can only say (with enough certainty) it has a EJ20 block strokered to 2.1. Much of the internal engine components are modified

A built Subaru gives more experiences than very expensive supercars (for me, 99 to 1 for subie). And the secret of our happiness is that we have only one life, and we must try to have as many experiences as possible. A Subaru is more ideal than a stock Ferrari or Porsche or similar, for this reason it is so loved, not only because it has won various rallies.

@@user-ru1eq7tw4y Well the metal sheet around the exhaust is to keep soot/exhaust build up off the actual bodywork and simply protect from fire that exits the tips. Its a function over form as you would expect on a race car - im sure time attack teams dont mess around wrapping a stock body.

@@user-ru1eq7tw4y LOL carbon fibre wrap xD They're full carbon panels man. The headlights are not wrapped. It doesn't have any. The entire front (front fenders, front bumper, headlight area) is a single moulded carbon fibre piece. Watch as that one guy lifts the hood off... you can see it's light as fuck. In another video you can see the weave on the inside from the engine bay shots. I assure you, time attack guys do not care about wrapping the car with carbon fibre vinyl to look cool. That just adds weight. Functional is the name of the game. Power to weight ratio and maximum aerodynamic downforce. The metal around the side exit exhaust is because it's spitting flames and crazy amounts of heat out the side. You will notice a lot of race cars that have side exit exhausts will do the same. As the dude above said, if it didn't have that sheet metal it would be messing up the body panels. It would probably melt the epoxy coating leaving the bare fibre exposed. Low budget...? Believe me, having a full carbon fibre body made is not a cheap endeavour 😂 They may have even made it in house to cut down on labour costs. The material alone is very expensive.

Never understood how the Italian TA classes are in comparison to the other championship around the World. Here it runs in the Extreme 4WD so I think it would compete in the Pro Am class of the WTAC for example

I guarantee you not everything on this car is "maxed out" for performance and efficiency. Probably doesn't have carbon fiber wheels and bodywork, I didn't see carbon brakes, etc. And there's lots they could've done to the motor that they didn't besides putting equal length headers on.

Non serve a nulla? Vallo a dire a chi progetta le auto GT da competizione o LeMans. Nelle competizioni di TimeAttack, se non hai il downforce, non valgono nulla. Se si hanno troppi cavalli ed un peso contenuto, tendono a perdere troppa trazione, che fanno perdere secondi di tempo. Che appunto, l'obbiettivo di queste competizioni è proprio quello di guadagnare più tempo possibile, non di perderli... Vai a vedere i WTAC (World Time Attack Challenge) americani e giapponesi e HillClimb, non ne hanno mai abbastanza. Fidati, sono tutt'altro che inutili. Un conto è se vuoi divertirti a fare l'imbranato (che non c'è nulla di male), allora avresti anche ragione, questi spoiler lo impediscono. Ma in questo caso, l'efficienza è più importante che il divertimento.
