Hello! Dimash was competing in China that year, he came second, apparently because a Chinese citizen had to win. But he gained millions of fans as soon as he performed. They were given little time to rehearse and those who sang in a language different from their original one (as in the case of Dimash who sang in French, SOS in English Show must go on and Autumn Strong in Chinese) were due to phonetics. Hence the special "dimglish"... but he created a respectful and original version of this beautiful song. Without further ado, I send cordial greetings from Argentina.

The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door. "The Show Must Go On" was the 3. song in the competition. Participants have one week to learn the lyrics and arrange the song. Dimash did not speak English at this point. The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to KZbin ... and so we became Dimash's Dears. Lionel Ritchie was about ‘Hello.’ Vitas was about Opera 2’. But I do agree that it seems odd that they wouldn’t want him to sing their songs again. I think we understand why. Brian May, on the other hand, was very pleased with Dimash’s version here.

Freddy had a what, 5 octave range? Dimash has an 8 octave range. @024, he has classically trained for 25+ of his 30 years. He is a Phenomena and with this, he completed his Ph.D. in the spring of 2023. All of his other accomplishment's are to long to list. He is from Kazakhstan. Tall at 6'3", and loves things like horseback riding, swimming taekwondo and the list goes on. He is from Kazakhstan and seems to be kind and loving.

Io invece preferisco la versione di Dimash....in tutti i sensi....come direbbe Freddy ascoltando Dimash .. l'allievo ha superato il maestro ....tu preferisci l'originale perché ti ricorda un periodo della tua vita..,.ma non puoi negare che il talento....la professionalità di Dimash.....ha reso la canzone più bella e maestosa...quel tocco in più che mancava alla versione originale!!!!!! This was a singing competition where Dimash was the youngest contestant in the history of the show, not even in his home country and he was competing against the strongest and very professional singers with many years of experience. Also, the very nature of this particular song is about survival against all odds, carry on no matter what. Freddie was singing his heart out with this one. No time to relax.
