All I needed was to replace the headlights. Thanks to this video, I was able to replace them with minimum effort for my 2008 Mazda 6. Awesome video, camera person and mechanic for making this job easy to understand.

This was great and thorough. Can you do a video on just replacing the plastic lens cover. That is really all I need to replace. I am hoping you don't have to remove the bumper, but I have a strong feeling it will be necessary.

+Lillian Welch Thanks for watching! You cannot actually replace just the lens, it is glued onto the assembly during the manufacturing process. @@1AAuto Just the lens is available on line with a couple of vendors. I guess I will see if a restoration kit will remove enough of the haze for now. The assembly is simply too costly for me right t now. Thank for the info, you saved me money by telling me the lens is glued. I could see myself using my Dremel tool to detach and then gluing the new lenses on. Too Much work.

Nice video. Question: Inside the car is the button fot beam rise and lower with positions 1, 2 and 3. In what position should it be if new headlights are installed? Thank you.

Put a glove on that neg cable. If it falls and hits the right chassis or block ground you risk potential problems

I have a 2006 mazda 6 quirk. There is bulb with a white wire with a connector its between the blinker and the hi beam( not on hi beam. Watching your videos it not show it. Its the driver side

Great video but nobody mentions the fact that you need a mechanic to change a light bulb. What should take 5 min is a 45 min job. I can only imagine what the total charge would be for a part that costs less than 10 bucks.
