Thank you 1A Auto! Another part successfully replaced in a 2002 Avalanche. One note: be careful removing the level sensor, I didn't quite listen and pull it out straight and had to cut open the old bottle to retrieve it.

Thanks for talking the time to make the video and share it with us. Crappy place and design for such a regularly replaced part. Still not as bad as replacing a Heater Core in the older Chevys that was horribly excessive and time consuming to replace. Thanks again!

The old tank lasted me 18 years, so I can expect the new one to last till it's junked, so a once in a lifetime repair isn't so big a deal. Still, bound to take me an hour, complicated only by the number of things I have to do. Another video shows the tech removing the LF tire giving better access. I may do this.

It looks bad but really not, just did mine and it was only a cracked pump housing.

Great video!!! Always use your videos for help! Word of advise... Might be a good idea to take the old tank out and determine what is leaking... Turns out our tank was good, but the rear pump cracked and was the cause of the leak and a replacement tank will not fix this. You have several points of failure (tank, hoses, two different pumps and a level sensor) Lucky for us we bought the complete unit that came with a new tank, both pumps and the sensor. Hope this helps!!!

Good video. Thx. If you break the fender clips and need them fast, autozone etc should carry them. Always use straight fluid or distilled water too. Hard tap water will clog lines or make your pump fail faster. I learned this a long time ago on another vehicle!

I love your videos! Only one question about this one though: why would you go through all that time and hassle and not replace the sensor while you're in there? My bottle isn't leaking but I get a random 'Washer Fluid Low' now and then, even though it's not low, and was thinking about replacing the sensor. Do I have to remove the bottle to get to it? I suppose it could also be the terminal. Thank you! Bart
