A tip for anyone who’s accidentally replaced a latch and tested it while the tonneau cover was down and locked, before securing the threaded rod 😬 Make sure your tonneau cover isn’t fully closed and locked, you may accidentally be unable to open the tailgate, resulting in having to fish a flashlight and poker inside to try to release the tonneau cover clamps. Thank god we had some mild weather this week and I had just enough space to reach in and pull the rod in to release the latch. I hope this may save someone the aggravation of repeating my mistake. Carry on 🍻
