I saw the date on this and thought about my dog that was so special to me. Then this intro by Philip. It broke me down. The solo reminded me of the crying and agony I went through for months. A year and a half later and I still think about Bandit everyday.

I discovered this guy like two days ago, for real. I found him by accident on a Pedal Pawn show, then on Michael Palmisano youtube channel doing a segment analysis on Philip Sayce. What an incredible guitarists that puts himself all out in his playing. All emotion and attack. You do have to go back to guitarists like Philip to have this much emotion. Thank God for KZbin!

My brother Jim passed away on November 30th 2021, from Covid. He's not just my brother best friend. We played and wrote music together too. He plays bass and I play guitar and sing. He loved Philip Sayce, as I do too, and the last video he shared on Facebook was "Can't get you out of my mind", live at Toronto radio perfformance, here on KZbin. I cry every time i hear this song. I miss him so much every single day. Thanks so much for uploading this.

@@BluesRockAcademy Wrong you are. Philip is an amazing guitarist as was Gary Moore. Both of them are very 'note perfect' in their playing and they both play with amazing feel and emotion. Gary Moore and Rory Gallagher are my favorite of all time and Philip ticks a lot of the same boxes.

@@BluesRockAcademy I can name 50 solos that are as good or better than any of the 3 you mentioned. However, you've lost the plot. Gary and Rory are my favorite players of all time. Gary's playing on his Hendrix tribute was phenomenal! Rory's playing in any of his live concerts is amazing! Philip's playing has a lot of the same qualities and carries a lot of soul. At the end of the day, it's all art and art is and always will be subjective. If you open your mind you'll see that there is more than 1 guitar player that can move you. @kevinjohnbetts2 жыл бұрын
Looks a bit darker and richer than most of the Fenders I've seen that are supposed to be that colour. I think the nearest modern Fender colour is 'Miami Blue'. Someone else referred to it as 'Aqua Blue'. I would guess that only the guys at SVL know for certain what it is. And maybe Mr. Sayce.
