@@garychen919 Gary, I have noticed that you apply the tar and iron remover on a DRY car and cover with foam, why?. Wouldn't it make more sense to pressure wash first and then apply the products?. Once again, learned lot and will watch the rest of the series. Vince.

Hello Vince , Nice to meet you. Pre-watering will start to stop the tar remover decomposition reaction and start emulsification. Which means the tar remover that I used only works on dry and cool surface. That is why I sprayed on the dry and cool surface and allow it to melt tar away in three minutes. Using pressure wash behind chemical is not only a technique of pre wash skill but also to reach the purpose of “touch less”to remove all the residual by using water. That is why I used high pressure after chemical. There are two reasons that I cover a layer of foam after chemical and before high pressure wash. First, we should all be able to understand that increase the wetting time of paint surface can effectively help us to remove a larger amount of dirt when using high-pressure flushing. That is why I used foam to cover all the chemical in order to increase three or few more minutes to wet the surface instead of let it dry. Second, covering a layer of foam on the surface of paint can effectively decompose the chemical residues before you rinse off .

@@garychen919 Gary, thanks for your feedback, much appreciated. I will check if my tar remove works on dry or wet.

@@Bistandklient sure. Or let me know the brand that you use. I will check for you. Some people just wipe off instead of rinse off after melting. I prefer using pressure wash for touch less purpose.

@@garychen919 Gary, I just want to make sure about the wax process. 1. Polish wax, 2. Carnauba wax, 3. Coating protect spray. Correct?, thanks Vince.
@garychen919 Жыл бұрын
@@Bistandklient It’s all about your car wash schedule or circle. As I mentioned in the video, you can use cleaner wax on week one. Using carnauba wax, sealant, or spray on week two. Using carnauba wax, sealant, or spray on week three. carnauba wax, sealant, or spray on week four. You can keep doing this weekly, but don’t put two products at the same time. For me, I am using Adam’s graphene 9H on week one, and using graphene QD spray detailer from week two to week four. After I have done this circle, I will go back to use cleaner wax on week five.

@@garychen919 Gary, thanks for your thoughts and time, have a great week end!, Vince.
Gary, I am creating my purchase list and not sure which polish wax to get, please note that I do NOT have a polishing machine. I prefer one which is not difficult to put on/off and leaves no streaks. What is your suggestions?

@@Bistandklient I recommend to use Maguire’s three in one cleaner wax or 3D speed. Both of them are cleaner wax. The differences between both of them, Maguire’s three in one cleaner wax is much more focus on removing grime and safely cleans surface contaminants and blemishes. 3D speed is cleaner wax. Also, however, it is much more focus on removing swirl marks.
