Looking forward to more of your BTS reactions Olive and in no time I'm sure you will become baby army😋, especially coming from a Directioner. Actually, there are many 1D fans that became BTS fans after 1D disbanded. Big part of why you became a Directioner was because you got to know their funny playful personalities. Well, BTS are the biggest crack heads out their once you get to know them from many of the fan made content you can find all over KZbin that really shows their personalities. Examples of those fanmade contents are like: Don't Let BTS Go On Tour BTS is such a Mess on Vlive Drunk BTS is the best BTS Namjoon is so Done with BTS English Those are just some examples of the hundreds or thousands of funny contents out there on their personalities. Eventually you will discover variety shows like Run BTS! and In the Soop that really show their funny personalities. But for now, we army hope to see you continue with reaction to more BTS content out there. Borahae!💜💜

Hi! Thank you for your reaction. I would highly appreciate if you can react to some more BTS vocal performances like Tiny Desk Concert. BTS live vocals are chef's kiss , tho few times they overwork themselves and become sick(its natural for a human to get sick) but they still try to give their 200% in performance.

This song if u understood the meaning is an anthem really. Its called IDOL because people keep judging them for being too idol. too hip hop. too much make up. too much of one thing instead of anohter. In the music video there is a lot of color and multiplications of themselves. It means the more you try to contain someone, contain them, the more they shine, the more they are themselves truly. This is a message for EVERYONE that u do not need to stick to one genre, one look, one identity. This is about being who you are whatever you want whenever you want, however u want. When they shout in the song YOU CANT STOP ME FROM LOVING MYSELF u say it too. these are all affirmations in their music that the world is lacking.

I think what makes most people fans of BTS is their variety of music, their choreography and showmanship. The utter professional way that they conduct themselves in everything they do, but most of all their devotion and love of their fans, which is genuine. The more you look into them you will find that all seven of them are individually very talented, gifted young men which is why altogether they are an amazing group. They each have their own individual styles as well but together they are phenomenal. I personally think the most important factor in their success is their communication and willingness to show themselves to their fans. Their openness has made their fans love them more because they are the most natural lovely young men. They are extremely funny and it's a lot of fun to watch seven young men having fun in their variety show and showing different aspects of themselves. They are not afraid of showing their emotions, vulnerabilities and strengths. They are extremely popular now but the road there was not easy for them and they suffered many hardships to attain their success, their story is worth watching. I hope you enjoy watching more of BTS and grow to love them as much as we ARMY do. By the way I am seventy this year and so I have seen many groups in my life, many boy bands, I saw ‘The Monkees’ live, (I am so old, hehe) I lived through The Beatles, Rolling Stones etc and all the great groups that followed in the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, etc. I have loved a lot of the music but never really liked the people much, what example did they show me as a youth and young adult, as great as musicians that they were : Alcohol, drugs and sex and destruction, the indulgence of life was the way to go! It took many of them years to come to their senses. There was something in me that was always disappointed in that aspect of them, not that I had anything against them partying or having fun but many they did not seem like the role models you should follow. I think BTS is a group that are great role models because they have great work ethics, impeccable manners, great love for their family and fans and each other. They respect everyones viewpoint such as religion, LGBTQ, Gender equality. They write songs about social issues that effect today's youth including mental health. They are large donators to several charities especially UNICEF. They each individually donate to charities as well. Because of this their fan base has followed suit and also donate not only money but time to various charity events around the world in their beloved BTS name all year around. Many stating that BTS had saved them teaching them to ‘love themselves’ . This is the sort of influence that no other group in the nearly sixty years I have been following pop music has ever done. This to me is why I personally find them phenomenal and I would say the best group ever ( not since the Beatles, much as I loved them). I think music wise maybe someone maybe can come along and produce songs equal to them but it would be hard for someone to come along and be as impactful as them as no one can be as unique a combination as these seven young men. The world has been a better place because of their union and their music and I am grateful that I have been able to be a part of it. I sincerely hope you will also feel the joy that so many ARMY feel as well when they listen to their music. 💜💜💜💜

I'm an ex-directioner and I was really blown away by the difference between the two groups. Both are successfull groups but the way I feel BTS has given so much more is the reason why I love them so much and even when I won't be their fan sometime in future they would hold a special place in my heart. From their journey to their personality everything is inspiring. (but still it's a mystery how they got such toxic fandom, no offence to the good one's so please don't start anything). Many people compare them but I feel BTS is way above the comparison and the way people who have never heard any BTS song in their life gives their opinion how the other group is superior is pretty embarrassing. So I'll say as a person who had loved both the groups, musically I feel BTS has more potential and growth over the time.
@RasaAkstiniene2 жыл бұрын
hi, toxic people make from 10 to 20 percent of people in every society, community, whatever. because BTS ARMY is huge, the 10 or 20 percent of toxic people is also a huge number, and it can seem everyone is toxic, which is really not, it is the same as everywhere ;) and toxic people always want to be seen, you know. they crave for attention, so... but. luckily almost most of them use twitter mainly, so if you want to avoid them, the way out - not to use that app :)
@catlegs62332 жыл бұрын
actually the toxicity is due to the overprotectiveness of the original fans. the moment they feel the group is being attacked is because they know bts doesn't deserve hate because of their talent and hard work.

@@catlegs6233 sorry but using the 'over protective' word everytime, even the word has lost its meaning now. People need to understand that it's not over protectiveness anymore but a toxic obsession. Everyday new arguments are started and people are being targeted for even giving opinion smh.

@@SD-nx6ky the fandom does more good than bad just that the bad apples “shine” more. Some ppl like myself are overprotective for a reason, some of us have witness them being taken advantage of and mistreated bcs they weren’t from the Big 3 etc. We have seen them get cut off of performances bcs they weren’t big enough. we have seen them get ignored, the media making false rumors blow up, death threats thrown at them etc. BTS themselves have acknowledged how terrible it was for them back then and how thankful they are. And they have spoken up of how the fandom is diverse and not eveyone should be blamed for the bad actions of some ppl. When they speak in our place like at UNICEF they talked about how important it was not for others and to represent ARMY well and with respect. BTS chose to see the goodness in ppl and how diverse not just in ppl but opinions when they were asked if they were worried about their personal lives like dating etc getting backlash from fans. You should really read their interviews in magazines and KZbin videos where they have opened up. When they weren’t given a room during WINGS era and had to practice and ch age by the bathrooms, when they debuted and no one wanted to talk to them (Yoongi has talked about this). The rap line in their mixtapes have also opened up about this stuff. Jhope in Hangsang, “We only believed in ourselves since before-debut, Put away the rumor, Everyone was our enemy On our side, there was no one, A team like that turned the game around” “Bravado, insistence, delusion, Using your seniority to harass others” Yoongis lyrics of 2! 3! Of some things they were told “I haven’t heard your music but it must suck since you’re idols, I haven’t read them but I know I don’t like your lyrics You don’t have a power, so you must’ve done some shady things, Seeing how you act, I can see that you’ll fail real soon (Thank you so much) Your inferiority complex…” Lyrics in Sea “and our second name was “idols from a small agency with no connections We were cut from broadcast countless times To fill in for someone was our dream..”

You learn about each one of the members and their particular gifts, roles in the group, and their song writing credits. Above all, each of the members has stayed humble and they consider each other family. They have partnered with UNICEF in A Love Yourself campaign (they have albums by the same name). Their philanthropist gifts have been mind blowing like protecting women and children’s rights. I’m so proud of these people and I’m very proud to be an Army. I couldn’t get a concert ticket for their L.A. concerts last month, but I’d definitely love to be at the next one with my Army Bomb, even if I’m in the farthest seat. Thank you for your honest reaction and comments. BTS has been vlogging for over 10 years, so they have A LOT of content to really get to know their personalities and see their growth! There are many, many behind the scenes videos on their KZbin channel Bangtan TV and the channel with English Subtitles is available under another KZbin channel named Bangtan Subs. The best documentary about BTS and KPop history is The Rise of Bangtan. This series of videos is made by a OG Kpop ARMY who happens to be a professional video editor. This project is her labor of love that she has been working on for almost 4 years. She tries to give an overview of the KPop history for those who are not familiar with the industry. She uses clips from different video clips of other idols/journalists interviews to try to give a broader perspective of the industry. You have to understand that the way she had edited the content is to show how the industry works in South Korea and how BTS and Big Hit are different from the norm. It's sometimes very subtle how she shows the contrast. Her skill as a professional video editor really shines through. Amazing work! She doesn't try to interpret what "she thinks" BTS is trying to say, she just shows the viewers exactly what they said and shared about what their thoughts were at the time. It's currently up to 19 chapters (30 mins. each). Sorry for the long comment. :) By the way, you and your team should consider watching BTS Room live 2021 performance which the guys sing a melody of their songs which really shows their various genera as well as their amazing vocals and raps!

before I became an ARMY last year, I never thought I'd like BTS and if you'd ask any of my friends, I'd be the last person to stan them bc I hated them for years without even giving any of their songs a proper listen 🤦♀️ I used to listen to more R&B and chill stuff like Sabrina Claudio, SZA, Frank Ocean, Summer Walker, H.E.R, etc. and my initial assumptions of BTS' music was that they were all the same bc kpop from the previous years all sounded the same. When I really dove into BTS, I discovered a bunch of their B-sides that I really love and finally found a group that did not make your typical kpop music. Every song is sooo different from one another! My current faves are Dimple, Pied Piper, Film Out, Outro: Ego, Paradise, Trivia: Seesaw, Outro: Tear, tokyo, Airplane, My Time the list still goes on honestly and I don't want to overwhelm yall but I promise you, the journey down the BTS rabbit hole is so much fun 😭

@@taebeary. I actually liked kpop when i was in 4th grade when Girls Generation, Super Junior, etc. were active but I didn't know any of their names or stanned anyone the way I do with BTS. Me being impressionable at that age, my siblings ingrained in me that kpop was cringey and me wanting to be cool believed them and went on to have that mindset for the longest time. Actually had a bunch of opportunities prior that could have made me an ARMY sooner. My ARMY cousin danced Mic Drop for her 18th Birthday and I was really shocked that it was a BTS song. I was also going through an EDM phase at the time so I knew Steve Aoki xD My ARMY cousins were already trying to get me on them for several years by showing me MVs but they never stuck with me. I was actually there when Boy With Luv was released bc I was a really big fan of Halsey and I was one of those people that got sooo mad that she barely had any lines 🤣🤣 I was also one of those people that hated ARMYs and BTS when Savage Love hit 100M and Jason Derul0 went on to celebrate and didnt give them credit xD Legit thought BTS didn't have more fans than Jason 🤦♀️ But now that I'm a ARMY, I see 100M like it's a regular day xD Finally joined th fandom after the Muster 2021 Sowoozoo concert especially after the OT7 Daechwita performance hehe

Nice reaction. I promise you'll love them after a few performances. They're all multi talented. They write, compose and produce a lot of their songs. There are 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. Their voice range is amazing. The same goes for the music genres they do. And personality wise they're goofy, humble, tight as family, and as you mentioned: cute. And sexy 😉. Thanks for the reaction. 💜💜

BTS is so diverse. Calling them a K- Pop band puts them in a category that they don't deserve. They sing all genres. They are very very talented. So no matter what you watch of theirs you will always be surprised at their diversity. So continue watching them. If you hadn't noticed they are the King's of choreography. No one compares to them. Fyi- you saw them on a Samsung ad...not Verizon.

honestly i really want to see this girl react to more bts to find out that they have such a diverse music style that they can't even really be put into a box or genre like there is so much variety when it comes to bts that whenever i try to get into new artists i struggle because when all their music is the same with the same topics and same writing style and same music it gets boring but when it comes to bts they are constantly changing up their style which is why it's always so exciting whenever they come out with new music. you never know what they might put out, what topics they'll choose to cover and what their lyrics will be about and all of that. the reason a lot of army really love bts and why we're so passionate about them is because they are such genuine people. they really do care about they're fans, the bts army, and they care about the world around them. they are such sweet people. we also love them because of, obviously, they're music. they're lyrics are so touching and they choose to cover topics that no one talks about. things like mental health, love and loss, self love and empowerment, ect. and they're lyrics are so artistic and beautiful. they're choreo is amazing and all the comitment they put in is outstanding. If you want to learn about how bts became the stars they are today i would recommend you react to the rise of bangtan series. if you want a shorter one, react to The Most Beautiful Life Goes On : a story of BTS If you wanna learn abou bts as in their personalities, you should react to BTS Personality : Guide to their habits | 2020. honestly just react to any good ones that you come across but PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL ARMY AND BTS DO NOT WATCH THEY OLD AND OUTDATED ONES. also if it's possible, watch Run BTS to get to know they're personalities better.

Yoongi aka Suga ( the rapper from BTS) once said "you gonna enjoy our music if you ignore the prejudice " . Because many people don't even give BTS a try. They just automatically hate on them because "they're kpop" "they're boy band" "I can't understand them" or simply because they ONLY heard one song in radio. But they are so much more, there is a reason why they are so popular, they connect people all around the world, making them feel important and loved. Im happy you gave them a chanve

While I don’t think it’s fair to compare BTS to 1D, I do think that (and you loyal directioners can come for me if you want) what BTS has over 1D is their bond. I believe that the 1D members were really good friends at the time and still are today, but the BTS members are like family and that’s no understatement. Jung Kook has a song that’s a love letter to how much he loves the other members, Jin once said that things don’t feel right when the others aren’t standing next to him, and V went on about how he can’t live without the others and how he wants to still be part of the member’s lives long after their careers. The bond that they built before they ever released any music is the reason they’re still growing strong to this day.

BTS are truly an inspiration to everyone, no matter your gender, race, religion, or age. They make music about topics no one else will, like mental health, suicide, cyber bullying, woman empowerment, self-love, and more. They are always themselves, on and off camera and they try to be as genuine as possible. They care so much for their fans and they love each other like brothers. Their relationship with each other is a connection I have not seen any other group have. They also have variety shows where they just goof around and have fun and it just shows that they are always being themselves. They write, produce, and compose most of their music and the lyrics and meaning of the songs are always so deep. Whether the lyrics are about hard times in their lives or about how we should follow our dreams, every song brings across a positive message. Their main message has always been to Love Yourself and because of them, I do. The joy and happiness that they bring to millions of people around world is truly remarkable. They have brought together people to create a huge family that consists of millions of different ethnicity, race, gender, sexuality and more. They are breaking down music barriers, trying to pave the way for other artists who aren't appreciated because of where they come from. When covid hit, they were supposed to be going on world tour, but had to postpone, and later on cancel, the entire thing. Covid hurt them a lot because performing for ARMY is everything to them. They love it so much and to have that taken away in an instant was heart breaking. But, instead of sitting back and continuing to think they were helpless, they came out with BE. An entire album dedicated to helping everyone around the world through COVID. Two of the songs off of BE hit number one, but that didn't matter to them as much as their fans do. All the time, they say that they don't do this for the money or the awards. They do it for us. BTS are changing the world. 💜
@raya65322 жыл бұрын
I have zero clue as to why anyone would compare 1D to BTS. The only thing they have in common is that they are a group of guys. BTS do intense choreography WHILE singing live. They started under the kpop training system but broke out beyond that to become global, breaking language barriers and became the biggest group in the world despite their songs, other than 3 english ones out of 200+ songs, being in Korean, a language only spoken in 1 country, and selling out 50k+ stadiums on every continent other than antarctica and africa (only because they haven’t toured there) BEFORE any English songs. Their impact on music history is incredible. This has never happened before. There have been artists from Latin countries that had a Spanish hit in the US but that quickly died down after one or two songs. No offense to 1D at all because they had a huge fandom and their songs touched many young fans. But they had the advantage of having songs in English which the world is used to. But BTS has accomplished something truly amazing and are a completely different beast. By the way I LOVE your reaction to this. Nothing like BTS live performances.
@loftyradish69722 жыл бұрын
This song hits so much harder when you know what they are saying. The chorus is "what do you keep blabbering on about? Talking, talking, talking. I do what I do, so mind your own business. You can't stop me loving myself." I definitely recommend checking out their lyrics. BTS cover a lot of socioeconomic and political issues with sarcasm and irony and humour and a brutal, sometimes vulnerable honesty that is very unusual for a mainstream group. Some of my favourite lyrics are "There is already a mortgage on my future" from Go Go "Not perpetrators, not victims, this is a place where we have turned into bystanders" from School of Tears. "Because of others standards of success, my worries spread like cancer again, god damn it." From Intro: The Most Beautiful Moment in Life.
