Just bought this exact same heater and it'll heat my WHOLE HOUSE! Completely blew my mind! We absolutely LOVE our heater! Now I'm just using it in my shop but would definitely NOT hesitate to use this in the house if I needed heat! Just an awesome heat source and takes hardly any gas you'll get right at 3 days running it on low.

@@Mayhemcountryliving Ah you're very welcome mate! This video is one of about 5 I watched to make the decision to purchase the Mr. Heater brand! I appreciate the honesty and humble review! Probably will buy one of these as a gift for the brother-in-law's workshop! He came by an couldn't believe I had adequate heating in the shop 😂. I showed him the heater now I'm hoping he don't go buy one 😆

Thank you sir. I have to say I had a couple of problems initially when I used it after the first three or four tanks of propane I called the company they told me what to do and basically they were able to help me fix it over the phone and I have had zero problems with that thing. We’re looking to buy another one but I think they have a different one with actually a cooking eye on top of it. That is actually the next one I will purchase. We live in Alabama and while we do not have horribly cold winters we have cold wet winters interspersed with ice storms where we will lose power for about a week at a time. Two of these and a couple of generators will make the kids and the grandkids very happy

It was actually my wife that made me buy my heater. We had a power outage and it was getting cold in the house. I suggested that my wife and I bundle up with her baby sister. I don’t remember much after that but when the ringing in my head stopped, she suggested we buy a secondary source of heat.

@@Mayhemcountryliving seems easy enough now that I’ve got it sitting here in front of me. I may just build something that hangs on the grate for my thermal fan. I’m really glad it helped. I recently had to choose to repair or replace the main valve. Which I think was around $50 plus shipping. I chose to just buy a new one and take all the extra parts off of the old one. We’ve had it for quite a few years now and the part with shipping would’ve been over $60 and you can buy a whole brand new one for round 110. Already replaced the tip over switch so I figured it was just time.

I used it up until this past year and it had been fantastic. There was a problem with an orifice tube I believe or part of the valve assembly and the parts to replace it were about $60 plus shipping so I just ended up breaking down and buying a whole new one and saved a few pieces and parts on it. It has been one of the better purchases I have ever made lol

@@Mayhemcountryliving Good to hear that it'll last a while. Did you use a Mr. Heater fuel filter for the contaminants in propane and hoses? That's direct from the product description page so not sure if it's necessary or just marketing.

You can run a line from your tank and then use flexible hose or you could have it soldered and fitted in a location that you would like. You might have to check with a gasfitter as to what you need to do. You might also want to check the quality of your regulator

We have used it many times when the power goes out and if you keep 4 tanks it’s an easy swap

I’m not sure about the clearances before placing in a cabinet you might check on their website. I do not think you can wire it to a thermostat because the temperature control is a manual valve on the top again I would look at the website they may have a frequently asked question section.

I got one too. the controls a bit different but still 100 bucks. and they pump out some nice heat. Did yours come with the wrong regulator that can not vent "down" because it has a 90 degree to the tank, with a "DO NOT REMOVE" warning tag on the wrong regulator stating, "Caution; vent of regulator MUST be pointing down. This kind of thing is a "legal out", if you use it as shipped and any thing bad happens, you can't sue. like the selling point of "indoor use" . When actually that means there must be at least a 1.5 sq.ft. hole to the outside, NOT AN OCCUPIED AREA, NOT A LIVING AREA, AND NOT A SLEEPING AREA. In other words you can put it indoors but not be in there "living" at the same time. pretty crazy sounding but that is the world today.
@Mayhemcountryliving2 жыл бұрын
Yes mine did come with that same warning and after about a week it quit working as it was under warranty I called the manufacture and they said the anti-tip disconnect was faulty and they said bypass it and I said holy cow thank you. So now mine works regardless of whether you tip it over or not and it works very very well I have had it for five years. I think,. And we use it regularly every year in our downstairs living room. I am actually going to buy a second one. Just in case we need it.
