When I was young, I didnt have the money or time, then I had kids, and now, I'm 50 years old with a busted achilles and can't walk long distances... As a Catholic I have wanted to travel this pilgrimage for many years. I don’t know if you’ve ever seen the movie “The Way” starring Martin Sheen directed by his son Emilio but it was a good depiction of the pilgrimage and it helped to motivate many of my friends to travel. We showed it to our students at our high school and they really liked it as well. Watching this travel blog also makes me think of that again.
