Surprising your neighbor like that is so cool. Well done to both of you.

Guess you guys didn't catch anything in Downtown Norfolk since all the catching was done out by the drawbridge in Chesapeake. Would have loved to see some fishing back in the Lafayette river areas.

Beautiful place to fish. Really enjoyed this video. Great to get away from all the FL and AL fishing and come back up here where I live. Very encouraging for old guys like me. Another super video! Suggestion - try some regular Everglades Seasoning if you can find it. Publix carries it in NC. It is better than Old Bay! Seriously - try it. You’ll love it.

You two are an awesome team. I laugh every time Christi says get the net as soon as she hooks up! Were you guys cold on this trip? You need to plan a trip to south Texas. We are slamming the trout and reds in 60 or 70 degree temps right now. The trout are especially big this time of year. I lost a 30+ inch trout right at the kayak 3 days ago. You guys can stay with my wife and I in San Antonio. Of course once you fish down here you won't want to go back. We lived in Yorktown for 23 years when I was stationed at Langley AFB. But wouldn't go back except to visit.

Would NOT recommend eating the fish out of the elizibeth river (which is where your fishing) there is a huge waste run off because of the drydocks. Good vid other wise. Stay safe.

I use the boat ramp at the Jordan bridge it's takes me 10 minutes to ride back to the gilmerton . Dim right towards the high-rise bridge that's the second spot they were at and that's another 10 minutes away from the boat ramp if you like I could text you my number man and tell you all the spots there

I'm looking for fish scraps for fertilizer for my community garden in Norfolk. Everyone says to go to the fish markets and piers but when I call they say that there aren't any scraps available. Do you know a place in town I could get a bucket filled for cheap?
@DavidWilesKotch Жыл бұрын
They probably get recycled into crab baits. You need to consider the odor and the critters if you plan on composting meat.

That is not a keeper at least by New York regulations, good job taking a good fish out of the population, and keeping it from breeding..... maybe in Virginia it's okay but that's probably why there is a huge striped bass shortage, regulations changing next year we will see
