Hi Shaun, need to give you the heads up, I was in the VOSA unit M6 J14 / 15 today. . If you are loaded with tractors or any large wheeled vehicle, do not strap it across it's wheels and think that is ok. They are looking for them to be cross chained on the chaise. They are also checking the load values of straps, dates on the straps, and damage on the straps. Apparently over 90% of the HGV's moving plant and equipment when stopped the VOSA find faults. . All this month they are running checks. ..

Cheers mate I’ll keep that in mind normally I’m pretty decent with my straps if there cut they either get used as smaller ones or binned, as for the cross chaining that’s gonna be a pain in the arse but if that’s what they want then that’s what we will do
