Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory. [Colossians 3:1-4]

1. Im pressing on the upward way,
New heights Im gaining every day;
Still praying as Im onward bound,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
2. My heart has no desire to stay
Where doubts arise and fears dismay;
Though some may dwell where those abound,
My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.
3. I want to live above the world,
Though Satans darts at me are hurled;
For faith has caught the joyful sound,
The song of saints on higher ground.
4. I want to scale the utmost height
And catch a gleam of glory bright;
But still Ill pray till Heaven Ive found,
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.
5. My Lord I’ll for low, till I stand
Erect upon that lofty land
And blest forever, sing His grace,
Who led and set me in this place.

Lord, lift me up and let me stand,
By faith, on Heavens table land,
A higher plane than I have found;
Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

신화와 끝없는 족보에 마음을 빼앗기지 못하게 하기 위한 것이다. 이런 것들은 믿음안에서 하나님의 경륜을 이루기보다는 오히려 쓸데없는 논쟁만을 불러일으킬 뿐이다. 이 명령의 목적은 깨끗한 마음과 선한 양심솨 거짓없는 믿음에서 나오는 사랑을 이루는데 있다. 디모데 전서 1:1-11 이 찬양을 묵상하며 오늘 큐티 본문을 나눕니다. 우리가 힘들때 위로하여주시는 주님이심을 묵상하지만 우리가 현재 무엇을 보고 듣고 어디에 있었는지 나의 중심에 복음이 있는지, 사랑을 이루려는&믿음안에서 하나님께 나아가는 자리인지 돌아볼수있는 은혜 주시길요. 말씀과 주님을 바라보지 않으면 가랑비에 옷젖듯 쓸데없는 논쟁에 휘말려 돌아보면 하나님의 뜻과 멀어지고 있을때도 있는것같습니다 요즘 시대에 나타난 사회복음 등등 복음앞에 여러 이름을 붙인 신학이 아닌 종교가 아닌 우리 한사람 한사람의 삶의 목적이 복음과 주님이 되길 소망합니다
