If it's W. Virginia the footage is likely to be really incriminating.

Disgusting that the state realized that they wouldn’t win this case for wrongful death but that a grand jury didn’t allow them to be charged for manslaughter. How can the two be true? If the body cam footage is that bad, they should have been criminally charged. This sort of thing will continue to happen while the officers responsible get a pass while the taxpayers pay for their brutality.

What change? They will be back at their ways soon enough. Law enforcement seems to only attract those that wish to do harm to others. Just sad.

I worry about a family member that is autistic knowing how some cops can be quite inconsiderate to say the lease and use violence against some innocent people just from false accusations/assumptions/paranoia/big egos, etc. Cops need to remember their jobs are to serve and protect the public. I know it's difficult to determine if someone is a liar or may even attack/shoot at cops, but wisdom needs to be used handling every situation. Admittedly, a job I wouldn't want.

So, the family fails to take care of their sick brother, and when the police are called, and it goes south, the family now says someone should've done something?

At the risk of sounding uncaring, it is rarher tiring to hear about all the supposed mental health episodes. A person can act like a nut and then use that as an excuse. Next, if someone is so mentally challenged, why are they permitted to drive or do things that put them in such situations? Everyone is ready to take firearms away from such folks, but it's odd how many of you are still fine with them having a 100 mph capable and steerable missile. You do realize that people can be pretty strong, right? This is even more the case when someone is having a mental or drug episode. Plus, tasers and sprays often fail to work on folks. Again, even more so if they are having a mental or drug related episode. Its funny to me how so many of you will complain about cops, but you would also be the first to hold a cop at fault if someone breaks away from them and then harms you. Frankly, I think a lot of you only dislike cops because you cannot behave yourselves, but you won't admit it. You don't want held responsible for your actions. Has it ever dawned upon you that we only have so many laws because a lot of you begged for and demanded them? The fact that you didn't realize what the unintended consequences would be, doesn't make the cops wrong. You want more law? Then realize it takes more cops to enforce them, and now those cops have more which they can enforce against you. This isn't difficult to understand if you actually think. Our founders warned us what would happen if the public would not be moral and civil. They also warned us about allowing the government to be involved in everything. Many of you wanted government and your neighbors to be responsible for you and for every aspect of your life, but without you having to give up freedoms or rights. Now you realize it doesn’t work that way. If you expect the government and neighbors to provide for you, clothe you, feed you, and house you, they are gonna expect some things in return, which means more of a police state. Complain about the cops. Hold them accountable. But make sure you have a good idea of what the job is and requires, before you do so. Keep in mind what it is that you ask of them and how well you could measure up to the same expectations.

The victim wasn’t driving, he was walking along the interstate. No one should die from being contacted by police for walking.
@larrygaal48082 ай бұрын
@@ToddMichaelPost so its normal to walk along an interstate, its normal to fight with police? Should the police have just let him be and walk away while having this "mental episode" so he could get run over by a car? Then the police would still be blamed for him getting hurt. This guy escalated everything not the police, where was his family that so much cares for him when this occurred? Seems like a no win situation for the police.
