listing questions for funsies! 0:12 How big is your hair? 0:16 Are you a theatre kid? 0:20 Will there ever be more content from the clown - vampire universe we saw in "wire"? 0:25 Will you be releasing official merch in 2024? 0:39 Do you see yourself putting together an indie game someday? 1:08 How do you decide which bits to write completely, and which bits to trust the voice actors to flesh out or improvise on? 1:24 What is your favorite kind of cookie? 1:27 Which of your musical pieces are you personally the most proud of? 2:07 How many more seasons of Bigtop Burger do you plan on making? 2:17 How do you find the motivation to finish a whole animation by yourself? 2:37 Did you always plan on bigtop burger picking up a heavier plot or did that all sort of just develop overtime? 3:13 What's your favorite genre of music? 3:29 Outside of animating and making music what else do you like to do for fun? 3:52 I'd love to kow what your favorite character you've ever created is, across all your animations! 5:04 what's your biggest musical influences when you write music and what's your favorite instrument to play? 5:41 I would love to hear about your thoughts on Cats and why you wanted to reference it in your work! also, who is your favorite character from the musical and why? 7:34 What is your favorite music genre, and what musical pieces inspired you during the creation of bigtop burger soundtrack? 8:30 Did you have a favorite character to animate in bigtop burger? 9:07 What usually comes first in your process, the piece of music, or the animation? 9:28 Have you ever been approached about making a bigtop burger series on a streaming platform such as netflix or otherwise? have you or would you ever try to? 10:02 What inspired bigtop burger? did you originally have a different direction to take it or was it's current storyline always the main plan? 13:26 How do you do steve's voice? It's so versatile 14:28 In terms of musical work which DAW do you use? 14:50 What are some of the highlights of clown culture that you haven't shown, and how long do clowns live for? 17:57 What drum machine did you use for Up? 18:16 How do you find SFX? like the ones that sound like old anime laser noises for everything. 18:51 What would be your advice for making animated projects alone or with smaller resources? 19:32 In bigtop burger which do you think is the best line delivery by the cast? 19:55 What goes into the process for creating a new character?? for example do you start from an archetype or a general influence, or is it more spontaneous? 20:42 Do you have a favorite animation from all the ones you've created?? 21:02 Do your various series and one-offs explicitly take place in a single interconnected universe, or are the references there to just be fun easter eggs for people familiar with your body of work? 21:31 What is your favorite voice of a character you have voiced? 21:44 Do you like to listen to any music/background noise while you animate or draw? 22:20 I've always assumed the designs of the main characters in Xylophone are based on Roger Waters and David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. Is this true? 22:52 What media inspired captain yajima? 23:26 Was the story in "Wire" inspired by the music, or was its music inspired by the story you were telling? 23:55 What's steve's favorite Weird Al song 24:15 will you wear wigs? 24:18 How did you go from learning blender, was it self taught endeavor or did you learn through a course? 25:02 Please talk a bit more about how BOBO-BO influenced you. 25:52 Did steve perform "The moments of happiness" more then once or was the fumble his first time? 26:07 Where does ideas like "clown planet" come from? 27:18 I noticed that steve and the other Real Genuine clowns never have visible ears, Are they covered up by their hair or not there at all? 27:35 What is your favorite animal?

For Bigtop Burger, I really wish you did a commentary version where you explain all the little things. I love that I could watch it with zero background and just enjoy how whimsical it is. Yet I definitely want to know more of what is going on in the inner machinations of your mind. Based on your curtains, it is an enigma. Also my fav song is the wire one, whatever that is called.

You know, funnily enough, hearing that Worthikids is not always motivated 100% of the time actually makes me feel a little bit better about my own struggles with motivation. I always am in this mindset that great creative minds have this huge store of motivation that I just couldn't hope to ever keep up with - but knowing that even one of the greatest and most creative animating minds of our time struggles with keeping up the motivation is...kind of a nice comforting thing to know, in a world that constantly demands output from us.
@pheonixrises116 ай бұрын
Worthikids actually has a song about promising to draw things but not being able to keep those promises and feeling guilty about it. It’s called Dullahan. I also like the whole EP it’s on, if you’re willing to listen to the whole thing. It’s only four songs.

Knowing that cats was some thing that you only seen recently honestly came as a shock. I’m no expert but I bet that Wizard Beer being your first short is the main reason you’re only just now hitting 1 mil. You’re probably my favorite indie animator ever since all the old newgrounds guys are either youtubers, streamers, or just quietly doing big fully professional work. I was a little surprised you hadn’t done a youtube short before Wizard Beer just cos shorts do A LOT for a channels visibility. Happy for your success regardless! I don’t usually buy merch but I will probably be one of the first to buy a Bigtop Burger shirt when you make those. You genuinely excite & delight me every time I see a new animation on your channel. They’re all gold, and they have been since I started watching back in highschool.

as a funny thought, you could have clown ears be like snake ears where they're all internal and while they don't hear sound traveling through air as well, they hear vibrations very keenly.
