Katana VS Blade, Crystal VS Orb, Daikatana VS Greatsword - Cabal EU

Most classes at some point have to make this choice. And while the common opinion seems to be that katana, daikatana and in some cases crystal as useless, I for one disagree with that. Let me show you why!

I see my warrior improvement when I use Daikatana. My damage in GS and Daikatana si the same. But the difference when I try both of them is, that when I use GS some of my attacks or skills are missed. While using Daikatana, my missed attacks or skills decrease a lot. As I said, I tried them both. My damage is the same in GS and Daikatana. So, for me, it's worth it to use Daikatana :).

I've been waiting for this kind of video. I'm a blader right now, so I was having a hard time choosing blades or katanas for my weapons. So I decided for Katanas, well most players I've encountered told me that blade will be the best for bladers but I strongly disagree. I bought 2 Katanas +15 of sigmetal grade and I tried it to compare it to blades with the same grade and option. But the difference in price was huge. Almost 1b(PH server) so why would I choose blade over katana with same option and grade for just a little difference in attack? And also its fine to wear katanas since dex can add attack to BL class. Am I right?

Yes! Good call on the katana, the alz difference can be spent on other items (esp. accessories wc could really boost your overall dmg) hehe

Well, this video made me change my mind about my BL build and i think i'll go for a DEX build now,i'm pretty satisfied with my hybrid build but i'd go for a single type of weapon because blades are expensive as hell. I'm mostly soloing dngs anyway so i have nothing to lose. My only corcern is how many HP points i'll lose if i do that but probably it won't be that bad tho.

Lately I've changed my HP passive to defense rate too, and no regrets so far. And that was as wizard, who naturally has lower HP and def rate (so it's even less effective for me). I think you will be fine!

I had always wished Force Archers could go full Dex kinda like FB and BL but instead of attack they get magic attack from it, the resist stats are good but I'd rather have attack rate and evasion or maybe add damage reduction stat to Int also thanks again for the great guide :3 edit: also about the price comparison between Orb and Crystal for FB/FS, yes Orb is most of the time cheaper than a Crystal because not many people craft Orbs for Sword users for example, a tri-slot Orb with at least 1 MSA option would indeed be more expensive than a tri slot Crystal with at least 1 MSA option but if the option is SSA then it is reversed, a tri-slot Crystal with an SSA option would usually be more expensive than an SSA option Orb for said reason that Crystals give more attack and attack rate :3

Only if it's cheaper for the same stats, or at the same price with better stats. Otherwise it doesn't really matter I think.

After seeing this, I believe my FA should use crystals, apart from being cheaper, it also gets a lot of attack rates, although there aren't many magic attacks compared to orb

Most high end crystal items are slotted specificaly for sword users which is fs and fb's and high end orbs is for fg, fa, wiz. Katana is budget friendly to those who are poor. But what will be the difference between a master katana full upgrade to masters blade full upgrade when it comes to damage test, bm2s and 3s along with AP...

@@genesisbelmes9927 whatever is cheaper, the main thing you need to look at is its effects. Personally, i would maximize my critical rate using either katana or blade. But if you're soloing dungeon, i will recommend you a katana for atk rate and its attack is not bad too. My character's weapon is 1 arch katana (40%cdi) and 1 sigmetal blade (42%cdi 8 cri). Successful attack on bms 2 and 3 is much valuable than a missed attack, thats the importance of attack rate. Missed attack = 0 damage, 0 lifesteal, longer dungeon time and 1 successful attack means everything.

Hello, thanks for the video. i was thinking about start back game again after 6 year. but that x100% defense think etc confused my mind. especially bloody spirit with perfect effector? if i have perfect effector how much defense i will lose?

It means it multiplies your normal defense value with that number. For example if it says *40% defense, and you have 1000 defense, it will be 0.4*1000 = 400.

Bloody spirit max def decrease to 30%+top effector increase max def+12% so you'll have 42% of def before you buff

Alway used cry and katana is bigger aa than orb and blade, but it isnt true power, aa is high attack rate 🙄🙄

I'm playing WA and currently have a 1204 str. Im planning to buy a daikatana because its mich cheaper than a GS eith the same stats. I need to transfer 50 str to dex. Do you think it will be good to my charcter?

Always go against meta nothing could be wrong if you knew your things, My Wiz have 200 dex, FS & WA has 300 dex all for the bonus of atk/def rate & evasion.

They have different stats. Bracelet of fighter has fixed stats, while Siena's bracelet has 3 attributes selected randomly from a list, and can randomly have a slot with accuracy or penetration in it too.

For FB, I always prefer blade/xtal over katana/orbs. For FA, I prefer orbs over xtal.

Don't think so. There are theories that they might have critical chance and damage similar to what mercenaries use, but if so then it's a really tiny amount.

I came back into this game for after about 8 years and after looking on the new released updates and items I say this game has turned into gear based game, no skills needed just money, better stats, op items and youre the best player. I dont see a casual average players "on a team fight" can beat a player with those end game items. Cant even help support, assist or full debuff and disable his offensive of such OP character bcos this game is based on "DPS" to kill a person. You need a good DPS to take down a person thats all. There is no such "counter debuffs" just wear a "resist" to counter his offensive. They keep releasing new upgraded stats only to counter it with resist stats. I think this game lacks assist, debuffing and disable traits. Ppl are always aiming for best DPS with almost similar stats like amp, penetration, cdi. I wish they will start adding more negative traits to counter those over STAT players.

Unfortunately you're right about all of that. But since it's those top players who are the most likely to spend real money on the game, the developers will always keep adding content to keep those people playing. That is the fate of every free to play game.

attackrate is one of the biggest missleader in cabal. like diss a FB full dex ore STR whit the same attack, the DEX FB will have almost 1K more AA then the STR build but the do both the same DMG the only diffrens comes when you use BM3 and ofc you miss less whit DEX build but in most cases you almost never miss even on a STR build. so in me opinion attackrate is missleading to stats. you can ezz upgrade your AA whit only attackrate even if you add 100000K attackrate your AA will go skyhigh but in fact you still a weak DMG caracter that just never miss bc of attackrate but what do that metters. why will you ever focus on attackrate if you dont focus on mission war and all that P2w bullshit.
