Dear Chris Rea if you ever read this I just want to say I have loved you for probably 40 years now...your music soothed me during tough times and happy times in my 20s.I have an amazing memory of playing in the surf with my 2 young ones listening to On the Beach wearing my Walkman and 2 jets flew across in front of us... 4 of my favourite things...my kids,being on a beach,you singing that track AND jets🤯😁🥰!!A beautiful moment in time I will never forget ❣️ I was lucky enough to see you live before you were taken ill on your last tour...I was so happy to see you just the other week here on KZbin doing an interview since then and looking well 🙂🥰 Stay well we love & miss you ✨️💖🙏

Mais c'est vrai qu'il n'est pas reconnu à la hauteur de son immense talent et que seulement 2 ou 3 chansons sont connues du grand public (celles qui passent sur Nostalgie). Le tempo de cette chanson me fait penser à "c'est malin" d'Axel Bauer.
