Pray for them. 1Cor2:12-14 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

It is not us who are patient but God giving us the patience. If you are born again, then you have peace from Christ and you can listen to ungodly words and nonsense. When I go to evangelise, I talk to people who confront me with dumb arguments and they do not want to listen, just like here. I only focus on bringing them the Word and asking them questions that will hopefully force them to meditate on our conversation. Then God works in their heart and sends them another worker later to go further so they can come to the Truth.

The Word and the Spirit were one God with the father from eternity. The spirit goes were He wills. He is not limited by the advent of Jesus. The Spirit was hovering above the waters in creation. It is true he was poured out on belivers at pentecost but He was capable of acting previously. Hence our belief that all OT scripture is Spirit breathed. @@petrospetromixos6962 What Greek when said love your enemies? I like the Greek philosophers and have read many but don't remember this. I'm genuinely curious. If I had to guess I would think Jainism is a better bet. Its a pasafist indian religion. Its teachers may have said something like "love your enemies" but Im not sure. Why I think you're argument cancelled nothing is because the Holy Spirit was around before time began. If Christianity is true then the Holy Spirit is around before Jesus birth came. The Holy spirit can come to anyone He choses. In the bible the Holy Spirit is God from the beginning of creation. In the bible old testament God Guides cyrus the great(a pagan to free the Jews from captivity) so God can guide believers and non believers alike to do Good. So you see the Holy spirit was around always long before the birth of Jesus as a man. Hope this helps (Jesus was around as God the son always too) We believe, Ubi cáritas et amor, Deus ibi est. This means "were there is love and charity there also is God." We also believe The Holy Spirit is God. Hope this helps you understand the teaching. I accept that a non Christians would disagree with this teaching but the teaching is not logically inconsistent is my point hope this helps to explain. All the best.

First . mistake.. you don't teach about Christianity to people NOT INTERESTED in listening you. There is even a chapter in the gospels , where is told Jesus could not do much and could not convert almost anyone because they were not ready for Jesus teachingsl. Second mistake is translating jesus teachings , in a literal way without using common sense. In that example as soon the Guy suggest to slap you , it just proof he is not interested to learn anything , instead he wants to show he is right and christians wrong. The word *LOVE * is missused in the bible to some degree , much better words would be exactly what you told.. Kindness , Patience ,Compassion .. etc. When Jesus Says LOVE YOUR ENEMIES , it doesn't means that you automatically needs to love someone the next second , of someone who slap your face.. specially when you are not yet fully developed in the holyspirit. IT means that you need to forgive that person as soon you can. That is the goal.. To love not only your enemies but all humanity too. In Matthew 7:6 Jesus said.. To Not give what is sacred and holy to Dogs and pigs.. because they will attack you.. So whenever a christian finds someone testing you ,showing hostility , this is someone that you in silence should pray and is someone not ready to be teach anything. When it comes to the correct behavior before any hostility according to Jesus.. is that you need to turn the other cheek.. and if asked to run 1 mile , run 2 instead.. What that really means is aptitude.. This is the aptitude you need.. That you need to not hate anyone for attacking you and if he is hostile ,you can show kindness to him.. without chalening him. That said if you know /become aware of someone wants to slap in your face , because of hate or to test you and proof you christianity is fake , you simply keep distance from that person ,while praying for them. Turn the other cheek means an aptitude of NO RESISTANCE or not caring at all. But here is the missing part.. JESUS SAID LOVE YOUR SELF TOO.. and your neighbor. So people who love themselves would do everything possible to avoid being beaten ,slapped in the face or killed. It means that is legitimate for Christians to use Self Defense to protect yourself or your family when there is major danger for their lives. and you do that without feeling hate for the aggressor. So the right way is to NOT CHALLENGE Anyone that wants to be hostile with you.. Allowing anyone to slap you in the face, , to proof them wrong that "you will love" is challening them. is testing them and So jesus said no.. don't resist evil . So the christian guy miss the point ,that Not only you need to love your enemies , but that you also need to love your face. It is similar to when someone at gun point ask for money.. Jesus said,, Turn the other cheek , means do not resist those who seek to harm you , to not challenge them. , give them what they ask.. why? because your life is more important than money and you need to love your self too. In this case , the tall guy did not wanted money , what he wanted instead is to challenge the christian guy , proof he was wrong.. So in this case.. best thing to do , is just withdraw for the discussion ,keep calm and not challenge his views if he is hostile to you. and remain in silent.. Jesus teachings shoould be only preach for those genuinely interested to learn and ready for it ,that request your help. Trying to convince a closed muslim ,that only wants to ridiculize you and proof you wrong is not wise.. Being Christians is not about being passive , but about being very active ,wise and smart and compassionate and evaluate which ones are ready for Jesus teachingns and which ones not. Those who are ready for Jesus ,yoou will know it ,because they will genuinely show interest for what you say to them. THis was not the same with the muslims who only wanted to ridiculize him.. teaching to people hostile is a waste of time.

Loving your enemies is telling them the truth, and the truth is God hates all sinners ( that's why they are called children of wrath ) because He is Holy and His Holy nature requires that He hate sin wherever He finds it. There is no place in heaven for anything that defiles, and God the Father forsook His Son and took pleasure in bruising Him . . because of our sins ( His Elect ). And God loves His Elect only, because legally they are not sinners, for He chose His Elect as holy in Christ before the world began, so He could love them ( Eph.1:3,4 ). He chose to view the Elect as holy and without blame so He could love them ( Rom.9:15,16 ). And it is all to the praise and glory of His GRACE, for it is all of God's choosing to love us, His very own Children of Love. And there is so much more to praise our Holy Father in tri-unity with the Son and Spirit. And Muslims who are not His Elect will never know the love of God for they are condemned already because of their sinful, corrupt nature passed on to them by Adam. Cheers !!

I remember walking out and watching her go to her car before calling out to her, and once she turned around I told her to tell him I forgave him. Now granted that was probably easier to do given that I was a child and didn't fully understand, but even as I grew up I still forgave him. As Christians, we can defend ourselves if someone attacks us. But yet, we would pray for the salvation of our enemies and love them. Loving our enemies and protecting ourselves are two concepts addressed in the Bible. The children of darkness can’t see this because the prince of this world blinds them. I am an ex-Muslim saved by Grace through faith in Christ. Before being born again, I was dead in my trespasses, and I didn’t know love but only hate and revenge. As someone who always have been christians.. You have learned very well .. Jesus teachings.. Congratulations. Jesus teachings , cannot always be taking word by word in a literal way. and instead we need to look for the real message behind the message. What is called INTENTION. The intention of Love your enemies, is not that you must love someone who slap your face ,at second later of being attacked. It doesn't happens that way , unless we are fully developed in the spirit and Jesus was. What in this case jesus will say is To forgive anyone who attacks you ,as soon you can , and pray for them . But because Jesus also told LOVE YOUR SELF TOO. Not just enemies.. Then we christians need to do whatever thing we can for defending ourselves and our families or friends while at same time showing compassion and kindness for those who hate us. So the best turn the cheek , aptitude we can do , we use self defense when lives in danger ,when the alternative is much worse.. Is about finding the best possible outcome ,when in presence of hostile people. IN jesus case , he did not defend even when he knew he was going to be killed.. and that's because it was part of a plan , of Jesus of allowing himself to be killed ,just to show humanity ,that not even Death can stop us ,when we have a very close relation with GOD. anonther interesting thing that muslim don't understand is when JESUS SAID.. DO NOT JUDGE. . people good or bad , and this is very important. The judgement of people as good guys or bad guys , what it really does is create Separation , this separation we create , promote condenation ,criticism and hatred for others. and this is what cause people to want to chase you.. because of your judgements.. If instead of that , we do not divide society between good guys or bad people.. and instead learn to love everyone as they are right now.. then this scene of the muslim guy who wanted to slap his face would have never happened. not even close , because the Hostile man would not feel the critisim of the christian , and would not even get close to him . God protects people by matching same energies .. it means tha people that always are full of love in their hearts,, will only attract loving and kind people into their experience.. in Jesus case , it was different . because it was planned even before JESUS was born that he was going to have enemies ,that will crucify him and he ressurect the third day. So all said.. as a Christian.. Is better to wait ,for people to ask your help first.. before helping anyone, and provide assistance ,when you notice they are Open to learn.. if they only want to challenge you and ridiculize you , just avoid them and let God and holyspirit to guide you ,who is ready for help. and yes you only walk 2 miles , if your life is in danger.. if you can avoid a fight by just peacefully retreating , then do it.. Use common sense at all time.. what could create the best possible and most constructive outcome for both sides ,, is the best decision to take. Sometimes the best thing is call police , if someone else life is in danger.

Always remember this pattern, 1) Conflict is always between islam vs other religions 2) Other islamic countries will not accept those affected muslims as their refugees, but they somehow sneak into non-islamic countries. (Russia, whole EU problem with refugees: France, Germany, Spain etc., India divided into 3+ countries, Iran was not an islamic state initially) 3) once they are into non-islamic countries, they create separate laws and try to break that country too. Stay strong Israel 🇮🇱✝🕎✡

@user-ki4bv6pc1e9 ай бұрын
Thank you, 1nemind for the mission work you are doing. You are an inspiration to us all. I would also add that there is a psychological aspect to what Jesus was saying. I think Jesus wants us to forgive, not only for his own sake, but also for ours. Hate, anger, and bearing a grudge, only works to poison and destroy the human spirit and make us a worse person. These things weigh us down and taint the soul. So I would say Jesus' reasons for asking us to forgive are twofold, for the sake of creating peace in the world, and creating peace in our hearts. You handled that situation extremely well. Clearly something was working in that man against the Gospel. May the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you and your family always.

Praise God brother, you are doing a great work for the kingdom.
