Apparently if you listen to the former dev of the games, he said it’s possible they used 2K18 as the base to make 2K20. But even then things are missing.

It was ridiculously good this past year! Maybe it was before that too i'm not sure, but its the first year it really caught my eye. Hopefully it'll be as good in 2K20 when the mode is added back in.

I thought 2K19 was a great game, pretty underrated at the time. Although I think looking at what we have its appreciated a bit more! Haha. 2K20 can be at that same level (its essentially the same game with updates) but it needs some SERIOUS updates to get there.
