If you keep hitting Square after you remove the pause menu the game will go frame by frame.... if you hold square the game will also keep playing until you release square...i thought that was awesome!!

If you could expose the mat yourself during the match, that would be cool. And if it does add some special damage if you set it up that way, that'd be neat as well. It's an ok edit, but even I thought it was something I missed that you could do during the game.

According to game director Matsumoto, there is no chance of an Xbox port. Although he also said there is the possibility of a Switch port in the future if they get enough sales.

But what are the controls like?! Fire Pro on GBA is great, easy to get used to. But I just got fire pro returns on PS3, and it's horrible. I haven't played it loads yet but, from what I've played, I can't win a grapple. Is World easier to get used to and win grapples?

Fire Pros got better game play (in my opinion) and a better community, along with a dedicated team, something the 2k games have sadly lacked the last couple of years. Watching the matches is great and so is playing them. Id say its better in all aspects to 2k but number of match types and graphics. If your fine with different styled graphics and less match types for greater gameplay and matches then this game is for you. Im also really excited for fire promoter which is basically gm mode for firepro. Still have hopes for 2k, but currently I cant confidently say I trust them to make a great wrestling game. Hopefully that changes but at least I know I can trust these guys. My opinions though, open for convo if you disagree or have an opinion that you want to make known, so long as its constructive and not just mindless negativity.

I agree. I will get the manager mode DLC. The online community creations are insane and 17k+ in total. I wanna see Ladder Matches added and wearing belts to the ring and more weapon types. Can't wait for ps4 custom music update.

I had never come across it on WWE in all honesty, I just saw it and thought it was fun. Thats kinda the point of series like this, to introduce a fun thing or two - Especially to new players. I guess the FPWW audience is a little more hardcore and maybe doesn't appreciate things like that. I'll keep that in mind for future videos.

AI logic editing, focus on Japanese style wrestling over sports entertainment wrestling (unless you're only into WWE, in which case Fire Pro is not really for you), you won't have to remake all your CAW's a year from now, deep character, roster and promotion customization. Gameplay wise, the Fire Pro series is only rivaled by its AKI and KOC cousins.

@@pupilmonk Pros: -Pretty limitless and deep customization (including AI, ring mats and soon will be music) -Astounding gameplay when you grasp it -Ukemi mechanic (you let yourself strike and you become stronger) -Infinite CAW slots -Fun and surprisingly long/deep career mode. -Explicit mission mode that teaches you how to play and gives decent challenge. -NJPW heavyweight roster, if you like that -Lots of japanese match stipulations. -Well made animations and sprites. -The best wrestling simulator in the watching sense. Cons: -Not a pick-and-play game in the slightest, you're gonna get your ass whooped if you never played Fire Pro. -Not great presentation, at least compared to 2K games. -Maybe the worst choice if you only love WWE wrestling since it's audience sense is broad and not directed to just american wrestling. -Its organization and layout can be pretty overwhelming. -Its a game that requires TIME. If you dont want to mess with everything a game has to offer you, dont bother. Really, dont bother with Fire Pro. The meat and potatoes of this series is Creativity. Upcoming: -Manager mode, entirely customizable! -New story modes -New moves and shit

What’s so good about Fire Pro is the gameplay in which you feel like you control every move and can make very deep characters with moves, ai settings, and even build your character’s appearance from scratch. In wwe2k, it’s all streamlined and less in-depth. So, in simpler terms, it’s like a stick-shift versus an automatic car. It depends on which you prefer; I play both.

The fact that you can actually be a promoter and run your own "federation", while having the computer simulate actual 5 star matches almost exactly like you would see in the ring, is a plus for me. You get to control almost every aspect of your wrestler . Dont knock it until you've tried it
