If you have any questions, look for students from middle and high school.They are native in Shanghai and know English.In the 1980s, China's GDP was lower than India's.At that time, students had to go to farm after school. How did they learn English?
Why demand people in a non-english speaking country, to know how to speak English?😅 Is it mandatory in Japan that people must know English? Despite Japan has US military base, it's not American colony after all, right?
Japanese media are controlled by US. So even if they wanted to report truth, they may not be able to do so. 😂

@@ey3822 Japanese media? No, it’s coming from Chinese social media. The cities look clean, but the countryside...😅

@@Niconeco-z3j Because China's cities are clean, therefore now you want to talk about China's countryside? Very fair indeed. By the way have you seen how dirty New York and San Francisco are? These are not even countryside, but big cities.

@@ey3822 For foreigners, whether it's a city or the countryside, they just see "China." I think that's the impression they get because they don't understand the circumstances. I believe most of this comes from Chinese social media, Chinese tourists, and overseas Chinese workers. ...I have no idea why are you try to blame Japan for this. There are lots of videos on KZbin. Go check them out
Your guys also don't speak English. And if you do, the accent is so thick So why do you insist on mocking other people’s English?
@Niconeco-z3j4 күн бұрын
Who are you referring to by "you guys"? She's Thai. Are you talking about Japan? And where exactly do you see people mocking others' English? Nowhere, right? Have you even watched the video?
That’s so funny. Chinese people talk about prejudice and say not to mock others’ English, yet here we have people stereotyping Japanese with their own biases and some Chinese mocking Japanese English as terrible or their accents as strange. With behavior like this, you can’t really complain no matter what others say to you. In her video, she didn’t say anything bad about China. She even said she had biases about China but found they weren’t true. So what exactly are you unhappy about?

That’s so funny.Some people dare to misuse trendy words as they please. It’s well known that China, Japan, and South Korea, as non-native English-speaking countries, are widely recognized for having unusual English accents. Even countries like India or European nations such as Scotland have distinct accents, which often makes communication challenging when one party is not a native English speaker. Should we deceive ourselves into believing that people from these regions all speak with a perfectly standard and authentic accent? If we describe an accent as "strange ," that is merely stating a factual observation; if we call it "ridiculous," that is mockery; However, some people may fail to distinguish between mockery, prejudice, and factual statements about the nature of such terms. For example, Japan's localization of foreign words is a fact well understood by anyone who has studied Japanese. Yet some individuals, either out of ignorance or a pretense of moral superiority, accuse others of stereotyping. Must we always smile and accept whatever others say? That would be hypocrisy.

They’re quick to judge others, but when it’s about themselves, they just can’t take it. Total hypocrites.
