My favorite part is the commentary and "Whoooahs" going in to turns too hot 🤣😂 Nice riding, looks like fun!

My first day at that track about 3 weeks ago, some guy named Brandon took down my info and said he was organizing a race, I believe it was this one or one similar as I remember he said there would be teams. I'm just getting back into dirt riding (in my 50's now) after being out for 20+ years. That "enduro" stuff is out of my league at the moment as I'd kill myself on one of those tires or logs! Looks like fun though.

The team races are a blast! No pressure, just fun. You might consider TORCS or TX2 if you live in central Texas. They have 50+ classes from beginner to expert. 2 great series as well. I'm 48 and race this stuff all year. 👍

@@jeremyschlegel Hey! Thanks so much for the information!!! I've seen some of the TORCS races as well. I'm good as long as I don't have to climb over huge logs or stacks of tires (you made that look pretty easy!). I definitely would like to start out beginner in some hare scrambles but I haven't had much luck finding information in the Austin area. Just FYI, I am about 1 hr from Murphy's, Lone Star, Spoaks (been riding there and Creekside......which is nealry 2 hrs away). I've been getting back into riding the moto tracks. Do you know anything about CTOR? The guy seems nice but it's $250 for a full year membership, it's June now and he still wants to charge me $220! Some say it's worth it, some say it's not. Thanks again, any info is greatly appreciated! Great riding BTW!

@brutus6328 Thanks! CTOR is fun if you don't mind a lot of rock. I ride there occasionally with some buddies that have memberships. Only 2-3 times a year though and it's the closest spot to me besides Lonestar and I don't ride tracks much anymore. XC is much more fun and safer IMO. Checkout Jeremy King for a lot of CTOR vids. He rides there a lot.

@@jeremyschlegel A lot of rock? That's the last thing I want! LOL I live only 20 minutes from Hidden Falls Adventure Park, made the grave error of going there twice when I was first getting back into riding offroad (have had a Harley since age 18.....so lots of time on the road but haven't ridden offroad in 20+ years). It's nothing but rocks and boulders, I fell, smashed my elbow on a pointed boulder, bleeding everywhere, thought I fractured my forearm, and couldn't use my arm for 3 weeks. When (not if) I fall I want it to be on dirt, grass, sand etc! hahahaha. Anyway, I heard there was a bunch of nice easy trails at CTOR and just a few really hard enduro style ones. I still may get the membership as it's really only 45 minutes away and I can ride there any time (I'm a medic and work crazy 12 - 24hr shifts on weekends a lot, so I need places to ride weekdays). Hopefully I can talk him down to $190 or so. He doesn't prorate very well (lol) because he only runs the memberships from January til Dec.I even asked him "So, its' $250 for a year and $220 for 7 months?" he's an old man and doesn't care so he's like "Yep" hahahaha I will check out Jeremy King! THANKS!

@@brutus6328 Yeah, I'm not a big fan of rocks either. Spoaks is a place you might look into for weekday riding. If you contact the owners, they will let you ride the trails during the week. I occasionally go on Mondays when I'm off. Also, for more info about TORCS and TX2, check out their racers and news Facebook pages. Lots of helpful advice there for both series. TX2 starts in September and will be a more open trail concept, as quads will be racing the same course the following weekend.
