Nice shooting! I watched your build video with Bryce. I'm in Louisville as well. Bryce is a good dude, even though he got me in trouble with my wife... haha

KY ASA has an aewsome set up this year for winning bows and strings. SOY race will be fun to watch. With many new ranges it should be an aewsome year.

Great video! I really enjoyed watching this and look forward to watching your channel grow. Many of these shoots are held at sportsmen’s clubs and the open gun ranges are just part of it. It can rattle you if it gets in your head. In a way it’s a good mental game training tool for those much more stressful shooting situations yet to come in competition.

Yes, these are held at sportmen's clubs but this was the first time I have had to shoot during such an active range. I didn't notice while shooting but, after watching the video, a handful of my shots that were off where right when a gun went off. I didn't feel like it impacted me but maybe it did.

I shoot at the OKC Gun Club. They have an archery range and 3D course. People don’t realize how difficult it can be to overcome the gun shots in the background.

Good video! I like that your bow has a kickstand

I had an idea to record some 3d rounds in a similar format. I was curious the camera and lens you used for the zoomed in shots on the targets? Also the shots of the shooters were they done on a 360 degree camera?
@DoubleMiddleOutdoors8 ай бұрын
Also good just on the video. I will be following along for sure!
@Arrow_Army8 ай бұрын
I have my cell phone for the target shots and yes, it is a 360 camera above my phone. I think I'll do a video of the camera setup because it's easy and lightweight. Hope to see some of your video's soon.

@@Arrow_ArmyDid you ever do the video of your camera setup? I am interested.
@Arrow_Army3 ай бұрын
@arock9780 Not yet. Coming soon, though. Hopefully, I'll have it done in the next month. Still testing some things out so I put out a good video.

Were the shots at known distances? On the last target you mentioned 32 yards. I have never shot a 3d tournament where the distances were known. Great video.
@ppucks8 ай бұрын
Yeah he says he was signed up for “known 40”.
@Arrow_Army8 ай бұрын
Yes. I knew the distances. ASA have "known" classes where a shooter can use their rangefinder. The "Open" classes in ASA are without a rangefinder. I'm still new to this and I am TERRIBLE at judging distance. I plan to attempt it someday though. haha

What stablelizer setup are you using
@Arrow_Army8 ай бұрын
I'm using the 30" Trophy Ridge Hitman on the front and two 18" off the v-bar. I use the smaller Hitman's for hunting and ran across these on amazon for cheap. LOL. Didn't know I would get into this as much as I have. I want to upgrade but at the same time no one else has these bars and I kinda like being different. Haha

ASA rules the body ( foot?) is to be touching the stake or straddling it. Being a foot away isn’t right.
@Arrow_Army6 ай бұрын
I almost always straddle the "stake". Where do you see me standing a foot off?

@@timbow50 Ahh... good catch. I think the camera angle makes it look worse than it is but you're right, I could've been closer. I think I started straddling the stake but moved my front foot out for a better stance on that uneven ground. I'll try to pay better attention.

Great job! I can't believe there's guns going off at the qualifying.. Thats bull.. they can't not should for one day? Just saying..

It was a first for me as well. Great practice for those high stress situations when I'll need to keep my concentration though. haha
